I give this place one star because of an awesome waitress. That is it. The boneless wings were obviously frozen and microwaved. Dry on the inside and flavorless. I wanted to like them. My wife and I both ate a couple. When our awesome waitress told asked how the food was I had to be honest. She wanted to make it right, and I'm not trying to get a discount or free food, but her jerk manager said because we both ate two wings he couldn't do anything about the food. While visiting a family member at bS&W hospital indecisive to walk over Buffalo Wild Wings for some food and a break from reality. The beer was cold and tasty. Unfortunately the wings and fries were just as cold as the beer. The place wasn't super busy, so not really sure of why. Regardless, food not the level of quality I've experienced with other Buffalo Wild Wing locations I've visited in Texas and other states. By far the worst run BWW I have ever been to. Today the beer was flat, the bartender was very flustered (it wasn't that busy) she never even asked me if I wanted to order any food. I ended up finishing my bottled beer and going to MOD pizza a few doors down. I spend most of my life traveling. Literally: between work and diving, I spend more nights in hotels than do at home... whatever that is. In those travels, I learn to lean on certain staples for familiarity. B-dubs is one of those staples. I walked from my hotel to this location tonight and was greeted by a hostess and she asked the typical how many. I told her I was by myself and asked to sit at the bar. She said hold on, walked back to the bar for roughly one minute, came back to front and said: "You can't sit there, the bartender needs to catch up". She then asked if I would like to wait, and be placed on the list. List? One entire half of the place was empty and there were three dudes sitting outside. I literally laughed out loud. Apparently two beers and 20 wings is too much for this location. Still gets two stars since if I would have been able to sit, the wings still would have been delicious. That's why the chain is a staple. But this place... ridiculous. I've been a waiter at Michelin rated restaurants in my younger days. If you need to catch up, you need to work harder. If you can't work harder you can't be a bartender or a waiter. read more

How disappointing! We were so happy when we saw that B-Dubs was building in Temple only to be dissatisfied with the service and some of the "rules" they put in place for the amount of ranch you get with your order of wings. We have come to eat here several times and we order takeout from here at least once a week. As far as being seated, good luck if the hostess says hello or smiles at you before you're acknowledged to be seated. Once you've ordered your wings, get ready to order extra ranch since we were told they were only allowed to fill the 2oz ranch cups halfway! How frustrating that becomes when you order takeout!! The most recent visit was the most disappointing as we ordered a lot of wings only to be given the least amount of ranch for our meal!! We ordered from other Buffalo Wild Wings all over Texas and have never experienced consistent questionable service. UPDATE: seems they had the typical case of new restaurant frenzy. Went back with my roommate and all issues mentioned below were 100% not present. Food: still the typical BWW'S. My favorites are still mango habanero and garlic parmesan. Pro tip, if you get dry seasoning on your wings, ask for extra crispy! It'll take about 10 minutes longer but it's worth it. Service: much faster this time around in terms of speed, around 15 minutes for apps and food (although we came on a less crowded Wednesday). Jonny, our waiter, was extremely nice and helpful with orders. Manager: we asked to change the channel and it was fulfilled within 30 seconds of asking for multiple TVs. He even came to check on us personally. They've really improved and I can fully recommend this place as a great wings option in Temple! OLD REVIEW: My roommates and I have been here twice now. Food: your typical BWW's. Actually the wings and the fries here are not bad. I enjoyed the mango habanero and garlic parmesan flavors. Service: the service here is quite slow here. Could be since they just opened, but expect 45-60 minutes before you get your food. Staff are friendly. Manager: does not care about the establishment or its customers. We came to watch the NBA all star game and asked if they could change the channel on one of the TV, fully willing to leave if they weren't able to for some reason. We were first told it would be done in 10-15 minutes, which slowly became 20 minutes until the waitress told us it couldn't be done. Apparently the manager would not allow the staff to change TV channels and would not come out for a second to change the channel either. I understand busy nights but this is a sports establishment/bar, and when every television is on news or cartoons, I'd expect some sort of provision to allow sports to be played on at least one TV. Honestly I can't recommend this wings place to anyone in Temple with Wings, Pizza, and Things across the street offering better service, speed, and food. If I could leave 0 stars I would. This review is specifically about the new Temple location. Went there today for lunch. Not very busy when we we first arrived. Ordered off the lunch menu. Not even close to getting our food in the 15 minutes they advertised. Another couple who came and ordered after us got their food well before us. Ran out of drinks. Once our food finally arrived we had to sit and wait for silverware. Wings were barely warm. You could tell they sat for a while because the sauce was dry. The bartender, who was our waitress, seemed to not really know what she was doing. Very little personality. More interested in talking to other servers or the manager. When we brought the wait time to her attention she did tell the manager however he never spoke to us or even looked our way. I overheard other people complaining about their food as well. I am very surprised to see all the low reviews? The other night (July 4th) my buddy and I got up and walked out of a Chil(i) place, get it hopefully. We had sat down and no one even spoke to us so we left! This was my first time to this BWW. As soon as we walked in we were immediately greeted and seated. I had a cold beer in my hand within a few minutes. We ordered 2 appetizers off the $4 menu. The food, the service, the prices and the cold beers were all great! I am VERY picky and had zero issues at this BWW. Look forward to going again soon.....will update if any issues. read more

Waited 50 minutes past time for food to be ready. Place wasnt even that busy. They had 2 servers maybe. Kept being told food was being prepared and then being bagged and it never was. When food was finally ready they told me they were out of Root Beer but that Dr. Pepper tase like root beer if I wanted that. Drove home 5 minutes, wedges were ice cold, wings were lukewarm and 1 order of boneless were missing. I called and they had a million excuses instead of just apologizing. In order to give money back, they wanted me to drive all the way back up there with remaining food and THEN they would refund money. Apparently they like waisting everybodys time as much as possible. The manager spent 15 minutes in the bathroom before going back in the kitchen. The health department needs to do a major inspection on this place. Serving food that is not at proper temp and the kitchen looked disgusting from where you could see in by the bar. BWW has been one of our favorites for a long time but my husband and I had the worst experience last time. We ordered from home on their website and the food was supposed to be delivered by 6:38 through doordash. At about 7:00 I tried calling my delivery driver with no answer, called doordash customer service and they couldn't get the driver to answer. Once I said I wanted a refund I stopped getting responses and they even hang up a chat thread while I was typing. An hour later they delivered my food to my neighbors house. At this point I just wanted a refund and contacted doordash and BWW, they keep blaming each other and nobody will give me a refund. BWW took my money so it makes sense to me they'd be the one to handle a refund. But I can't even get a response from BWW customer service now. Worst customer service ever. read more

I am a long time supporter of Buffalo Wild Wings as an Ohio Native. I have been going to BW3's since the 90's. Today my wife and I planned a Staycation in Temple, Texas. we booked a nearly $300 hotel room across the street and went to Buffalo Wild Wings to see the end of the Ohio State game and planned to stay and watch Football for a couple hours. Our room was booked at this location for the purpose of eating wings and having drinks without the fear of getting home safe. After paying for the room we went to Buffalo Wild Wings just to be told at the door that all patrons must pay a $5 cover charge for a UFC fight. I have never watched a UFC fight nor do I ever plan too. We left and adjusted our plans. I know $10 for my wife and I is not a big deal, however it is the point. so disappointing. I question the likely hood of us returning. I have have had numerous of $100-$200 tabs at these locations and I believe I will spend my money elsewhere. read more

Wow... first time here. Wont be back. Wish we had read the reviews first. Joined friends and they were already annoyed that their waitress disappeared and hadn't seen her for several minutes. My friend was still waiting for a straw, napkin, and his drink had been empty for 10 mins. Talked to manager he said they'd send a waitress. She never came. Talked to Jacob the manager. He said "sorry" again, but still no waitress. Table next to us had half their food, the half of the table still hadn't recieved theirs either. Manager Jacob finally came to apologize after I suggested that it was sort of his managerial duty. When asked what happened to the waitress he just said she (Karissa) had something going on. I explained to him the something going was she bounced on servicing two 8 tops that hadn't been serviced for over 30 minutes so far. I still hadn't been offered a menu either at this point. Should I even talk about the bugs flying around. My buddy had a cricket fly in his face and there were more on the floor at our table. Another employee picked one up and our table had to remind him to please go wash his hands. When asked what was going on back there and why "Karissa" disappeared the employee refused to even respond to us and just stared past us and walked off ignoring the tables inquiry. Of course the food was dry and cold, and we were told they were out of burgers. At this point it all seemed a joke. It was our first time there for us and the other table as well. Alright, so putting this out there--I've had poor experiences with Buffalo Wild Wings in the past. That said, I wanted to try something different and since this is a new location in Temple, I thought I'd give this location a try. Clearly I just can't learn from my mistakes. The sweet tea had a distinct taste of age to it. No telling how long ago this batch was made, but it was definitely not fresh. I was hoping to exchange the drink, but by the time my waiter came back around I decided to deal with it and forge ahead. I ordered the buffalo mac and cheese. It came out in a decent amount of time, but seemed a bit more lukewarm than what one would expect of "freshly prepared food." It tasted alright, so I picked my way through it and soon needed a refill (as one doe when eating wings or anything tossed in a hot sauce). This is where the review went from 3-stars to 1. It took no less than 30 minutes for the waiter to come back and refill my drink (I know this due to a time stamp from something I texted around the time my drink emptied). I wasn't going to continue eating that spicy food without a beverage so I waited...and waited...while seeing other tables being tended to appropriately (note: there weren't that many). The waiter, once he came back, seemed truly sorry for the lack of attention. Stale tea, lukewarm food, and inattentive waiters--any one of those in isolation would probably earn a second chance; alas, that unholy trifecta has seen to it that I'll be taking my business to other, more reliable eateries in town. read more
