Very disappointed. I used the Buffini system early in RE and it really did work! Unfortunately, their customer service and client care teams were extremely unhelpful. They were not interested at all in working with me in my coming back into the program. I lost all of my data on my old referral maker. They were a great company back in the day.... sad to say that it isn't any more. I will be finding another coaching program and I recommend you do as well. read more

I find their whole approach of "oh by the way, I'm never too busy for your referrals" to be very insincere. Buffini is a great coaching program and CRM program. They provide a great system to build your business and tools to implement the system. The big thing is that you have to work the system. That takes dedication. I left the industry for a bit and left Buffini. There was not one issue canceling my services with them. When I got back into real estate, it took me awhile to sign back up. I do believe the Buffini program is good. My complaint is that after signing up for Referral Maker (CRM) and paying monthly on it for a long time, I decided to cancel in early January after not using it, but Buffini Company is going to make me not only pay for the full month of January but also pay for the full month of February. Kevin in an email sighted a digital agreement that I don't remember even agreeing to. It states that they "require 30 days' notice for any membership cancellation." Since I cancelled in early January I have to also pay for all of February according to the small print. Be careful before signing up for anything with the Buffini Company. read more

Go with Ninja or Tom Ferry. Customer service is lacking so completely, from the beginning of my 3 years using it until the cancellation process. They are difficult to reach, information is not passed readily among one another, and it ended up costing me extra money and delaying my mailers. I want a company that is ready to take my calls on my time, not theirs. A company where a voicemail message gets answered within 48 hours, not 7 days. A company that is cohesive enough to pass my account needs among different departments so it's not on me to contact them all. I grew up in a family that used his system when he was smaller. Forced to leave one star since I can't leave zero. Paid for several courses which were removed from the system without warning. Their explanation was that is the policy. If it was outlined it was a limited time class (which it wasn't)I would have been sure to go through it. As a broker owner of my company, 22 year real estate professional, I believed and invested in the Buffini Program, not only monetarily but also in time and effort. While I do believe in Brian Buffini's approach, I am very disgruntled at the level of customer service his company has provided as of recently, actually the HORRIBLE customer service and rude treatment. It is because of the poor treatment I received by the individuals (2) in the call center that I have chosen to end my relationship with this company. Over the past three years I have not only committed myself but also my agents that work for my company. I have referred them to the Buffini program for training, as well as the monthly subscription for marketing and the CRM. I am shocked and very hurt by the events that have taken place over the phone in the last three months over the course of two phone calls. I have been treated rudely while calling regarding a charge on the credit card ($30 extra) and then calling back because I could not access my CRM after I was told I would be able to access it through June 2022 after I canceled. I have been cut off in conversation, excuses made, no offer of rectifying the initial issue, disconnected when being transferred to a "manager", and just plain rude and disrespectful treatment. It's my professional opinion, Brian Buffini needs to implement good customer service in his company just as he preaches in his trainings. I can only imagine what his coaching is like if this is how his customer service is. SMH. Good riddance. read more

Brian HAD such a great company ..... Since the founder Brian is not so much hands-on as he was you can see it in the company. He is such a brilliant man, charismatic and smart and it's a shame to see the whole team not have the same values and attitudes as he does. As far as Referral Maker, their attempt at a CRM for Real Estate, it has some really nice features, but overall it's a time suck and not worth the effort to get your and your clients' information in there, nor worth the $20 a month. Just really cumbersome to use if you're a Power User. Might work for the novice agent who might not be so technical. read more

The CRM system is terrible don't sign up for it. Find another program that will be more effective and less expensive. They were evasive about the terms and conditions, on the last day when I thought I could cancel for free, they said that I would be billed regardless for that month. This not only disappointed me but marred the end experience. My representative with the initials "E.S." was not helpful in resolving the outcome. He simply gave a canned apology and transferred me over to the billing department. The billing department must be flooded with complaints and refund inquiries because you will get a voicemail. The representative with the initials "M.A" from the billing department left me one message on the same day when I tried to reach him again on a couple of different occasions, I got a voicemail. He hasn't returned my calls to discuss my grievances. M.A. made the minimum effort to not have to deal with the situation. His one lackluster attempt to reach me fulfilled his resolution obligation, he added the call to his "notes" in case it came up again and moved along. In actuality, trying to resolve the matter would mean putting in additional effort to call me back again. Buffini has my money, why bother? E.S. & M.A. knew I was upset with the CRM system and offered "ZERO" support because it was of no benefit to them. E.S. in the sales department met his sales quota for the quarter and had moved on to make this month's sales goal. M.A. in billing sent me an email of my cancellation and that I would no longer be billed. I should not have been billed in the first place for the worst, low budget, junk of a CRM system. This CRM system did not even work for the first couple of weeks of the Buffini Program. Yet, I'm paying for it. My group had to make multiple calls for tech support, but we complied and were excited about the program. The tech issues, in the beginning, were big gaffs too, not minor issues. The Buffini System with Brian Buffini was great, but this CRM situation has marred my experience. Proceed with caution, go through the terms and conditions with a fine-tooth comb, avoid the CRM system (there is better for less). Above all, the Charleton representatives will leave out important billing details, just skip the "FREE TRIAL" that is not free after all. Don't fall for their coercion and get a different CRM system, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR CRM SYSTEM. read more

WONDERFUL PROGRAM! I was in one-to-one coaching from 2003-2007 and again briefly in 2011. First, I was coached by Kim Ortega and then Karen Donnelly (Both have since moved on from the company). This program WORKS! You must be diligent with snail mailing out the monthly CAP items to your database (100 mailers are provided in your monthly kit). 50 note cards (Sometimes a stretch to do, but possible), follow up calls (Tougher to do when you are busy.....and for me, hard to be consistent at), and the annual client parties. I held two of these and they do pay for themselves. If you can afford entertainment (Music), it will make your party that much better! LOVE the seminars and positive energy and great info Buffini has to offer the self employed. I was a loan agent and he caters primarily to the real estate industry, but anyone self employed can take advantage of his systems to generate referrals. The program pays for itself when you are making money and being consistent with the program! A 6 figure income is possible using his systems! read more

For a business training company, they have forgotten a fundamental, customer service. They have completely worn me out. No one in " client care" I have renamed "client scare" knows what they're doing. They charge a lot of money for poor quality customer service and product. They adjust the plan and goals you have to get them aligned with your current stage of life (survival, stability, success and significance). I have participated in different levels of coaching with various companies over the years. Each one has strengths and weaknesses. Strength: I often say Buffini taught me to grow roots to my business. It teaches how to generate referrals from your sphere of influence (people you know, former clients, etc). Before becoming a REALTOR I worked in real estate, but I worked for a big company that wasn't always popular. And I had a position where I had to do things I didn't always like. So, I worked hard to separate personal and business. But that doesn't work for this kind of business. Not long after getting into this business, I realized that if I was to rely on a marketing based business and looking only to strangers to generate new business, it was going to cost a lot of time and money to get things really going. Plus, it would be a shallow business. When you're working with friends, and friends of friends, every single client matters A LOT. So the relationship gets much deeper. It's a more enriching business. It's a more fulfilling life. And it grows roots to your business, because with relationships like that, people will become repeat clients and refer others to you. Buffini teaches you how to do that. Oddly, despite the similar style with which I treat every client, I notice that those that are referred to me are more loyal... maybe because we have friends in common and it's easier to stay in communication - sometimes directly, sometimes through our mutual friends? I don't know. It's just a pattern I have noticed. Weakness: (1) After a year, there's really not more for you to learn. I am not a drink the Kool Aid kinda girl. I want to get the nuts and bolts, learn to apply the ideas, and once that is down, I want to move to the next level. But with Buffini, there just isn't a "next level". The good news is, the roots you establish going through their program will continue to bring you business for many years to come. The first time home buyers I got from referral business 3-5 years ago have all turned into repeat business... this time selling their first house, and buying a move up home. Many of my transactions this year have done just this. (2) The "items of value" aren't really my style. (These are things they tell you to mail to people in your sphere so you're constantly providing them value. Great concept. Just not always what I would choose. They also aren't automated. If they could allow you to customize and they would do mail outs for you to supplement your other efforts, that would be worth paying for. (3) I have been out of Buffini for several years, but when I have peeked back in at the program it doesn't seem to have kept up with changes in communication styles and technology. It doesn't incorporate yelp, for example. (They weren't even listed here!) Or other review sites. Or facebook. They are just lagging a bit. The world is changing, the program doesn't seem to be. The concepts all still apply, but they aren't teaching people how to apply them through all the various media outlets. Overall, 4 stars. Not perfect, but really good.
