My first issue was more than a year ago when my pets picked up ticks (likely from stray cats, since my dogs are primarily indoors). I asked Terminix to assist by treating for ticks, and they refused because I already had monthly service. During the summer, I called about beetles and crickets, and again they wouldn't provide an additional indoor treatment. I was only asking for one extra service -- not something to be overused -- but they still refused. Another issue: I had autopay set up a long time ago and hadn't changed anything, yet I suddenly received a past-due bill. When I called, the representative claimed I had never set up autopay and didn't even try to look into the issue. At that point, I lost confidence in their record-keeping and their lack of customer support, so I cancelled my account. For the amount they charge, you can easily treat your home yourself. They only treat the perimeter of the house now; a few years ago, they would do the yard perimeter as well, but not anymore.
