Ok, my family was a little hesitant about going at first. (I have older kids now) I convinced them all it was going to be great! And surprisingly to everyone it was! We are city folk (lol) so this was a one of a kind experience! We all loved feeding the animals, I think the animals are all well feed! Great staff and loved the variety of farm animals! I absolutely love coming here. My family's cabin is about 3 miles away and come every time we go up to Elijay. The reason I love this farm so much is for many reasons: Rascal the special needs dog ALWAYS coming running so happily to my car. She just wants pets and to greet you. She is thee mascot of this farm in my opinion. I love being able to feed the llama, the Pot belly pigs who ring the bell to be feed Cheetos! The rabbits where you can go into their cage/exhibit to feed them and pet them sometimes! Plus the kitties and deer she sometimes will get in. The farm isn't any old farm. It was rebuild by firemen from New York who supported the 9/11 attack after the farm took a large hit by a tornado in the area years ago! The best part is not only the support of the local warmart, the local community but all the few wonderful people whom keep this farm running and going! The wonderful people who call in to bring in injured animals as well. The farm recently took in a woodpecker, a 3 day old baby mouse and will rehab and release animals back to the wild. Susan was so sweet to open her rescue for us by appointment. Upon arrival, Rascal, a very sweet miracle pup with Spina Bifida greeted us with a warm welcome at our car. We enjoyed hand feeding the animals a basket full of vegetables, bottle feeding baby goats, cuddling with a bunny and a few kitties. Susan even showed us a cool cat that gives high fives on command. She has an obvious love for all animals and a true gem for animal rescue. read more

This place was amazing! The owner was so sweet and kind, and all of the animals are so well taken care of. My 2 year old especially loved Gabby the lamb, being able to feed Chubbs the pig cheese puffs, and feeding the chickens Definitely worth checking out!! read more

We drove all the way from Knoxville, TN to visit here. Very nice little place to let the kiddos meet some animal friends.

Came to Ellijay to visit a friend. Ventured to the farm. What an Place. Runs solely on donations and volunteers. Animals are rescues who are truly living a great life. Please support this farm.
