Walking into the store, holding the offending faucet in his hands, my friend asked for someone who know about plumbing. Waiting for just a couple of minutes, Jimmy came up. He was a tremendous help! Taking the faucet apart, finding replacement pieces & putting it all back together again. Patiently answering our questions as he worked. As I read this I make it sound easy, but it wasn't. Jimmy had to get the proper tools, research to find the proper replacement cartridge, dry fit it to be sure it fit properly & then get all together. If any employee is deserving of praise (& maybe a pay raise!) it's Jimmy. Friendly, knowledgeable & jovial he is an excellent representative of his store. He's made me an Ace Hardware customer. Ace is the place.

After showing me how to fix my problem, Jordan told me if I buy the parts and tool he would allow me to return the tool for a full refund. Employee Deagen was openly dismissive, stating he had "2 days left" and "didn't give a f**k," then escalated with ignorant rants and insults until I had to tell him to stop. Brittany was left to handle everything alone and was visibly uncomfortable. She falsely said Sarah was in the bathroom (she was hiding and the womans bathoom door was open), and the process involved repeated errors, claims of slow systems/malfunctioning machines, and multiple backroom trips for basic information. I've never seen a store manager avoid responsibility so blatantly, it's shocking and unacceptable. That said, my dryer and chair were delivered successfully, and service has been great with the team whenever Sarah is not involved. Aaron's should ensure managers are present and accountable, even in difficult situations, and strongly consider re-evaluating management at this location.
