I want to give a major shout-out to Andrew Foster at Builder's Lighting. I needed a very small item for a light fixture from (unfortunately) Home Depot by Hampton Bay and Home Depot could not help to obtain the small item. I asked Andrew Foster if they carried anything similar..I really didn't want to replace a light fixture and throw it into the landfill if not needed. Andrew did not have the item in stock but looked up in his catalogue an item he thought would work. He told me what to order. Soooo much to see! I'm glad I found this store. They have a tremendous amount of lighting options, accessories, hardware, plus super friendly service. I've been looking to replace our exterior light fixtures and post light for months and shopped everywhere but couldn't find what I was looking for until I went here. Vernon was real helpful listening to my needs and he offered his advice on my selections. He gave me pointers so I could choose the appropriate size and showed me items that could be bought online. They have a lot more choices there and even provided me with print-outs with the detailed specs of the models I chose. In the end, I purchased 4 exterior lights and a new modern ceiling fan. We used Builder's Lighting to select all of our lighting fixtures during construction of our home in 2020. When one of the LED ceiling fixtures recently went bad, I contacted Builder's to see what options I had to resolve the problem. Within a day, a replacement fixture was shipped to us at no cost. Came in here last weekend looking for a vanity light for our bathroom, and we found ourselves a vanity light. That inst the reason why they get the 5 star rating though, their service, selection, and pricing is the cause for that. Upon entering the store, the sales peeps were kind enough to give us a couple minutes to browse before lightly pouncing. We never felt rushed to make a decision, or like the sales peeps was interfering with decision making process. They kindly offered information as needed and guidance if we asked. They were respectful of their customers and accepted the sale if it came to it. Their selection is vast, as would be expected from a store that specializes in lighting. They had at least quadruple the variety as any big orange or blue box store. Last but not least, their prices! Cheaper or at least equal the price that HD or Lowes offers. All in all, I will be returning here for any more of my lighting needs. They also have door and cabinet fixtures, exhaust fans, and doorbells. Service that goes above and beyond Came in on a Tuesday needing to replace a large, glass, bowl from the dining room chandelier in a home we are renting. We needed a replacement quickly.
