Brand, new machines, convenient payment, very clean, and staff that really seems proud of their superior laundry, Queen city is located near our waterfront campground and is especially convenient for people like us who are traveling in periodically need to do large batches of laundry. Upon arrival I found a clean well appointed business that was welcoming and pleasant to spend time in! I was able to do my own laundry in a short amount of time with no issues. Looks like it was recently renovated with new flooring, paint and washing machines. They have 6 Huge dryers at .25 cents for 4 minutes. They have 7 washing machines the smallest one is 3 load capacity for $3.75 (25 min). The larger one is 5 loads for $5.50. They also accept credit cards in the washing machines which is convenient. The soap dispenser machine is $1, however they dont sell dryer sheets so you may need to bring that yourself. Free wifi here and a little table to sit on while waiting. Super cute place, but I didnt see any bathrooms available. Ample parking on the street and about 1 mile from downtown Cincy.

I want to start by saying that I'm a very patient person and never complain, as I've worked in the…read moreservice industry in the past and know the challenges too well. However, I had a rather unpleasant experience here and the business does not have a website to contact them through. Due to the current pandemic, many rules have changed. After I loaded my laundry into the machine, I was told I had to sit in my car. I have no problem with this, except that another customer was sitting in the store and nothing was said to him. I was also told I couldn't fold my laundry in the store, which is again understandable, except that the woman working had two friends sitting in the store gossiping about neighborhood drama when I went back in to pull my laundry out of the dryer. This doesn't make sense from an infection control standpoint and defeats the purpose of the new rules. I respect the new rules that were put in place, but they need to be universally implemented, not just implemented on certain individuals. This worker also wore a pair of gloves to clean, then went outside wearing them, in the process touching the doorknobs. She came back inside after sitting in her car for nearly 50 minutes (almost the entire time my clothes were washing and drying), again touching doorknobs and then proceeded to touch the countertops and other surfaces with the same contaminated gloves she had used to mop floors and clean chairs. If this business's goal is to prevent the spread of infection, they really should educate their staff on proper hand hygiene and use of gloves. I was told that the owner of this location owns all of the laundry mats in this part of town. I'm won't be going back if this person is working. I've had great experiences with other employees and generally like this place, but this was not professional and came across as very rude.

The washers and dryers were adequately working. They have washer and dryer sizes to accommodate all laundry loads. I washed 4 loads including 2 covers and a large comforter for approximately $25. Unfortunately, the staff was not very attentive or professional on Sunday, May 17th. I had a few questions and he was outside on his cell having a conversation with someone on speaker phone. I asked a question and he rudely told me to "wait a minute". Finally, he showed me how to pay for a card to use in the equipment. There were also a few minor leaks from the shafts going across the ceiling. They were leaking into small containers catching the water dripping. That looked as if it needed to be repaired immediately. All in in all, I would give it a 7 out of 10. The music was great! The oldies station plays while you wait. They also have refreshments for purchase. I would return. Hopefully, the minor inconveniences will be addressed/repaired prior to my return.
