I've just signed up. It's a bit far at a 20 minute walk from my home. But I gave it a shot cause…read moreit's a newer gym. The building is beautiful! It looks like a refurbished out building or old farm house. The locker rooms and shower rooms are stunning. Showers are private and clean! Fitness classes are good as well. Would be nice if they had air conditioning. And had more good classes in the morning. The pool is a bit disappointed. I would have preferred to have an outdoor pool... or at least windows looking outside so I get the feeling I'm actually in a pool rather than a bathtub. And no deep end. But the real reason I give 3 stars is for the strict behaviour of the staff. First off... you must wear a swim cap in the pool. I get that.. but I can't do underwater swimming with a swim cap. The cap pops off. And I'm having a tough time finding a cap that fits long hair. They all pop off! And I got hassle for my bathing suit being a 2 piece. It's a sport bathing suit which shows no real flesh. But they want me to buy a 1 piece. I told them to shove it! I will do no such thing for a gym. Second off.. you need a key to get into every room. Which is difficult to get activated when I refuse to give them my bank account number. I will try tomorrow and pay cash for my next month in advance. They will not be allowed to have my bank account number and make it difficult for me to cancel my membership. I'll give them another month. See how it goes.
