Dr. Nadine is a pregnancy and pediatric chiropractor, proud member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), and Webster Technique Certified for prenatal chiropractic care. She provides safe, specific chiropractic adjustments designed to support a healthier, more comfortable pregnancy, improve pelvic balance, and help moms feel their best throughout pregnancy and postpartum recovery. Bump and Beyond Family Wellness LLC opened its doors on the picturesque shores of Lake Michigan in September 2024. Dr. Nadine, who spent six years practicing as an associate doctor in Green Bay, WI, has always dreamed of owning her own practice. After returning to college later in life to pursue her passion for healthcare, she dedicated herself to making this dream a reality. After a year of searching for the perfect location, Dr. Nadine found the ideal space to launch Bump and Beyond Family Wellness, a place where families can receive compassionate care and personalized wellness services.

Meet the Business Owner: Nadine I.

Dr. Nadine’s journey to chiropractic began unexpectedly after working as a bookkeeper in her father’s auto repair shop for 10 years. After discovering her passion for chiropractic as an assistant, she took the leap to pursue her doctorate. Dr. Nadine is dedicated to helping families, especially children, in Manitowoc County achieve their full potential through holistic health. She believes in the body’s ability to self-heal and views chiropractic care as essential maintenance, much like servicing a car. Dr. Nadine earned her Associate's in Applied Science from UW Manitowoc, continued her studies at UW Green Bay, and completed her Doctorate in Chiropractic at Palmer College in Davenport, IA. She then spent six years as an associate doctor in Green Bay, where she cared for families of all ages, from infants to seniors.

I wasn't happy with the clinic thing where you go in and get treated by the "Dr. of the Day". I mean those work in a pinch when you need something fairly urgent, etc., but if I'm going to work with someone and partner on my health, I want someone that is going to be "my" doctor on a regular basis, that knows my history, and talks to me like an equal rather than acting all superior. Oh, and when I'm not feeling well, I'm not in a joking mood either, so I don't like doctors that act like comedians. Okay, that may have been sharing too much, but you have to understand why I like Dr. Gahl. He is really intelligent, but doesn't act like he has to prove it to you. He is kind and compassionate, while being prompt and efficient at seeing everyone. He has his own private practice and is not aligned with either of the two major hospitals in the area. While most doctors fall into one camp or the other, he works independently and will work with your medical needs at either hospital, your choice. Dr. Gahl has been "my" doctor for years now and I like him. He treats people with respect and is interested in your life, as well as your well being. Be sure to check out his honey that he bottles from his honey bee hobby. He usually has a few bottles for sale at the front desk as well.

Fortunately, if you go directly to the office, they will personally resolve it for you (even though it means that THEY are the ones on hold). Highly recommend.
