And the owners were EXTREMELY nice and helpful. While chatting, we mentioned that we were passing through town... and they very kindly started asking where we'd been, what we'd seen and where we were going. Breakfast seems a particular favourite among the locals. I had the scrambled eggs with chives, double smoked bacon and roasted vine tomatoes with 2 of the biggest slices of toast I had ever seen. They offer a surprisingly sophisticated menu which had my mouth watering and me wanting to try everything on offer. They also make their own cakes and Macarons.
