I love going to Buona with my husband on coffee dates or sitting by myself. The workers are friendly, and I haven't been disappointed by any of the coffee flavors I've tried so far. The pricing is very reasonable, and the CROISSANTS, they are so buttery and flaky and fluffy. I don't usually buy breakfast with my coffee, but I love their breakfast here. It's just the right portion so I don't feel hungry nor stuffed leaving, and the coffee compliments their breakfast menu very well. There's outside seating that's covered and some seating inside as well. Perfect for chatting or writing. One of the workers noticed the mushroom design on my sweater and made latte art to match. How good is Buona Cafe coffee? Well let's start at the beginning, circa 2013. As someone who has a variety of methods to brew coffee (include cold) and who scuffs at the very mention of purchasing coffee beans (or worse, coffee grounds) from a grocery store, you know the standard of what I keep in my cabinet is quite a high bar. So to state that the only regular beans I kept in my home, from 2013-2025, was Buona's is no small compliment. Sure I had the occasionally beans from new roasters who popped up in the area and whenever I ventured elsewhere (one of my favorite ways to support local and bring back a memory of a trip), but there was only one constant. In addition, a testament to their quality is my wife requesting I order their beans for the first couple of months after we moved to Virginia. Something to remind us of our 15 years in Augusta. Thus, if you are anywhere near one of their locations stop in for a delicious drink, homemade pastry (or sandwich or other food item), and pick up some beans to brew at home. But be warned, they will spoil you. One bag and there will be no going back. read more

Was driving a different way to work today and just so happened to see this place off on the distance with people enjoying the outside patio so I had to check it out for myself. Very chill vibe inside with plenty of seating to include the outside covered patio. I got the iced caramel latte, it was perfect without having to add any additional sugar. I also got the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a croissant (other options included bagel or brioche bun) which was probably the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. They had a ton of other good looking options as well so I'll have to stop back to try them out. I have lived to stay and enjoy the great weather outside but I had to take it all to go. The parking lot is in the back and seemed to have plenty of spots but I grabbed the last one and there was only a handful of people inside so it might appear busier than it is. Either way there is street parking if needed. If you are ever near here this is a must stop for coffee and snacks. read more

I have visited this location of Buona many times with friends and family! The staff is very friendly and makes ordering and pickup easy. Their drinks are very good and so are their food options. Today I tried their dirty chai latte and the turkey sandwich for lunch! The chai latte was ok, not my favorite drink that I've had there. However, the sandwich was delicious and I would definitely get it again. It is a perfect space for a quiet afternoon reading, studying for school or catching up with friends! The pros: their customer service was great. I met the owner, and she was extremely kind to me. The space feels casual and relaxing, plenty of seating that extends beyond the everyday table and chairs. Also, they have really cute stickers. The cons: I ordered an iced black coffee with a splash of oat milk, and instead got an iced latte filled with oat milk, which then proceeded to slap me in the face with each sip. Plus, their wifi was not working. Quote from barista: "Yeah, our wifi is sh*t. It does that sometimes." Not the greatest experience, but since service is my top essential quality in a business, that saved them with this review. read more

Genuinely, I think this is the best coffee shop in Augusta. When I walked in, the bartenders were super friendly and helpful, and talked to me for a solid five minutes to help me figure out what kind of drink I would like. I settled on the new lavender latte because I tend to be a fan of floral drinks, and I added Honey to it. The drink itself was excellent, I actually grabbed a sugar but didn't end up needing it because it was the perfect level of sweet for me. In addition, the price was excellent for the quality and quantity of coffee I received. I have been in Augusta a long time, and have gone to basically every coffee shop around here, and I do standby that this one is definitely the best value for price and quality. They do have limited indoor seating, but there is plenty of outdoor seating as well. They also have stands outside, so you could even sit outside in the summer when it is hot. Stopped by here the other day to have brunch with a friend. Decent amount of parking and streetside parking with cozy indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the bacon mushroom quiche and the red pepper and spinach quiche along with a cappucino. Both quiches' filling were soft and light, and the quiche crust was super buttery. The top was cheesy and added some tartness to the quiches which I appreciated. The cappacinos were frothy and smooth, and I enjoyed it greatly with my quiches. Recommended by a fellow Yelper. I visit this quaint little coffee shop west of Augusta medical district. The menu has a selection of savor or sweets depending on your morning desire. The service, on my visit, needed a lot of improvement. It could have been the timing. First I walked up to the counter to order, the first cashier/barista took my order for a 16oz iced mocha and My order consisted of an Iced Mocha coffee and a ham and cheese roll. The ice mocha coffee had the chocolate taste I needed for a Sunday. The Ham and cheese roll was less than desirable. The roll looked like a cinnamon bun that was stuffed with ham and cheese, except, after 1/2 way through eating the roll, I finally got a bite of the cheese. The roll was dry as if it had been sitting around for a while. I wish they offered to reheated it for me as that would have made a difference. Update. I took the Ham and cheese roll home and reheated it in the oven and it came out fluffy, airy, and was not over saturated with cheese. I think if I ordered the roll heated at the coffee shop would have made a huge difference. read more

Was working in town and decided to pop in for some quick breakfast. Service was great, barista suggested a couple of his favorites. I ended up getting an iced dirty chai, and a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant. The chai was perfectly balanced, a little sweet and spicy. The egg was so fluffy and the croissant tasted very fresh. I really enjoyed this place and was my go to for a year or so. My favorite drink is an iced caramel oat latte and I really enjoy their house made caramel sauce. The espresso has a nice bitter flavor to balance out the sweetness of the caramel. The coffee shop is really nice to relax and study in or just read a book it feels like a home and probably was at one point. Your drink can be inconsistent depending on your barista, you can go there 5 times and get the drink exactly the way you want 4 times and the other 1 time be a subpar version of what you expected. It really just depends on who the barista is. I don't think the subpar version is bad but it's a tick below the highs you'll have here. Great place to get a coffee if you're in the area. read more

After an incredible few days in Pittsburgh, I had an early morning fight back to Atlanta then hopped in the car to drive to South Carolina. I was going to get there too early for check-in so I decided coffee was needed. I jumped on yelp and saw this place, and after reading the reviews decided I would make a little stop out of it. It's a little bit off the interstate and for a minute I worried I was going to the wrong place. But then, poof, it appears. I came inside and knew it would be a good spot to enjoy coffee, a snack, and read my book for a bit. I ordered a latte and it was delicious. I debated between cinnamon roll and coffee cake - the guy at the register helped me decide on coffee cake. It was yummy. I sat outside on the porch enjoying my treat and reading my book. The quintessential neighborhood coffee shop. It has the perfect, cozy setting of an old house, and even though it was my first time here, the baristas greeted me like I was a regular. I came in to do a couple hours of school work, and I was not the only one with that idea! Buona Caffe has plenty of seating, tables, and outlets for anyone looking for a little focus time. There are also plenty of seats for anyone who may be here to chat and catch up as well. I also saw many people walk in off their morning walk who seemed to live in the neighborhood Summerville area, coming just to grab a cup or a bag of coffee. The coffee is that good!! I had a latte with lavender syrup and honey and it was perfect. But the best part was the muffin. I think it was the best muffin I've ever had in my life. Please, if they have it, do yourself a favor and get the PB&J muffin. It was....amazing. First time I came here I purchased the Iced Chai Latte and my previous visit I tried one of the staff picks called Zachary and it was awesome.
