I definitely recommend it. My son had a really good time learning , become more independent. The teachers helped us to be more confident and the anxiety for the separation process was smoothly. Miss Specey and Isabel were all the time very supportive and super empathetic with my family needs. All the crew in the office from the directors are all the time engaged in all the activities and the summer camp was amazing with súper accesible price, affordable and the swimming lessons were amazing . This review is social class!!! I went somewhere closer to my house to take a tour but decided to drive out 40mins to Buonora. Buonora has staff that supports and cares. Absolutely great playground and the classroom has new/fresh toys. Monday to Friday they have swimming class. Must try. They're so good I'm looking into getting both my children in their daycare. read more

Buonora Child Development Centers - Preschools Near Me - Reseda, California

I am writing this review as a vistior and a parent who was highly considering this preschool for my 18 month old son. This center is so beautiful and the staff was oh so nice! My son felt right at home when he entered the classroom. Ms. Armenta, center director, is very informative, caring and organized. I loved the campus and what the campus has to offer. Our LO is part of Regional Center and they work directly with RC- which is great. Only downfall, after we did the math tution cost added up to our current daycare price (we were in the market for a more economical daycare). If we could have had our son at this center part-time, this would have been the PERFECT place for him. I was very pleased with my tour. Thank you Ms. Armenta and staff! read more

My son just started about a month ago and he is loving this place...i was nervous to leave my son with strangers being it was his first day care....they feed the kids very nutritional snacks amd lunches. I really like that. They keep the age groups seprated as well. I am very happy with this place and the staff is wonderful and nice. They take great care of the kids. I am so glad that I found Buonora for my son. I used to live in Van Nuys and there was one of their centers right across the street from me and it was perfect. I was saddened that it had to close down. I immediately enrolled my child in their Reseda location and I am so thankful that I did. They were a HUGE part of my child's early education. He was there for 2 years and because of Spicee and Maria, as well as many wonderful assistants he is excelling in Kindergarten. The teachers are blown away at how much he knew before starting Kindergarten. I can only thank the school and their teachers for all their dedication and patience. They are worth every penny, and I plan on enrolling my two younger children in the next couple of years. read more

We have been part of the Buonora family for the past 6 years. Originally we were looking for a summer camp that was able to accommodate special needs kids due the fact my oldest is on the Autism spectrum . They exceeded what we expected for the summer and decided to make it our permanent day care for my other 2 children. My 2nd child graduated the Buonora program from start to finish and now my daughter is going there as well. The staff is friendly and very involved. They provide cooked meals for the kids and encourage healthy eating which is a huge plus. Not really anything bad to say about this place. They are also a little more affordable than some daycare's and they help with potty training which is a huge plus. read more

I should preface this review by saying that I am very particular and have very high standards. We inquired and visited several schools before deciding on Buonora for our precious toddler. We met with the director Celina on our first visit, she provided us with their program information and answered all our questions. She also addressed all our concerns and totally made us feel at ease. We love the school's layout as well. The classrooms are clean, and equipped with books, educational toys, and learning aids. There are 3 play yards that are separated by safety gates. The main play yard is quite spacious, plenty of room for children to run around and play. We knew right away that this is the right school for our daughter. Fast forward to almost 2 years today, our daughter still loves going to school at Buonora. The teachers, especially Spicee and Maria 1 and Maria 2 are wonderful and caring as well as teacher aides like Isabel. The office staff are always pleasant and willing to help. The program coordinator Candice ensures that everyday goes smoothly and consistently provides updates throughout the day via email. I cannot say enough great things about Buonora. Sadly, our daughter only has a few months left until she goes to Kindergarten, but we will definitely enroll our 2nd child at Buonora in a couple of years. read more

There are only great things to say about Buonora. I myself went here when I was a child and have tons of fond memories. I am proud to say that I now bring my daughter to Buonora. She loves it here. The teachers are great and help make my daughter's experience rewarding. The teachers and staff are very friendly and accomodating. Our son has been going to Buonara for almost half a year and our son likes it there very much. Communication is great and the school is spacious, clean. They have a lot of activities for the kids as well as the parents/families. read more

In the beginning, they were great......once the economy took a turn for the worse, so did they. I was one of about half of the "old" group to remove their children from there because of the decreased drive and moral level of the staff. My children didn't even like it any more!!!!!! I will be surprised if they are still in business within the next 3 years. read more

My daughter goes here and she loves her teacher Isabel. They do a lot of arts and crafts. She's always excited to go to school and play with her friends. There's also days where they bake some delicious snacks and she gets to take home one for her and one for me. So sweet and cute! She even tells me the ingredients that they used. She's learning a lot from this school and every time I pick her up, I hear her singing a new song that she learned that day. Her social skills have improved a lot too! I also love how they have a lot of family activities. I'm glad that my husband and I found this preschool for our daughter. read more

Buonora is a gem childcare program in the Valley. From the first tour and conversations with the director, Aminta, we knew this center would be a good fit for our son and family. Buonora focuses on children's social and emotional development, first and foremost, as well as has tons of amazing rich learning experiences for toddlers and preschoolers. I cannot say enough positive things about the teachers, who have so much experience, and such a warm, caring, sensitive approach to working with young children. Their small group sizes have allowed our son plenty of individualized attention as well as opportunities for him to develop his voice and socialize independently with his peers. Our son will be moving on to elementary school next year, and we are already sad to have him leave this amazing program. I would highly recommend to any families in the valley looking for a warm, welcoming community for their child and family. read more

Prior to deciding to have our 3 year old son attend Buonora, my wife and I visited several other schools. We decided Buonora was the right place after touring the facility and meeting several of the great staff there. We have seen tremendous growth in our son during these past 8 months. Coming home with stories of what he did that day, saying words that literally made us laugh out loud because we didn't know he knew them and just being happy to be there. The events Buonora has throughout the year helps bring families together and enjoy what our children are experiencing and they're so proud to share them with us. We highly recommend Buonora. I have only wonderful things to say about this place! My daughter started attending the toddler program a few months ago and she is SO happy! She looks forward to going to her class every day! Her social and developmental skills have improved greatly and her teachers take the time to discuss her progress with me on a daily basis. Her teachers are sweet, caring, loving and kind. All of the staff is truly amazing. My experiences here, since day one have been great. They have respected the fact that my daughter is a vegetarian and have made us feel so welcome! I can text Candice on a daily basis , even on weekends with any questions that I may have about lunch menus, school programs or financial matters. Needless to say, I couldn't have made a better choice for my sweet girl! I have very high standards and I am truly a very happy Mommy! Our daughter has been attending BCDC for over two years and we couldn't be happier with the care she has received. Not only are the teachers qualified and educated but they are so loving and have a personal connection with our daughter that is hard to find in other daycare centers. Each teacher we have been privileged to have as a part of our daughter's growth have been amazing- Vero in the young toddlers class is amazing at potty training and giving extra hugs and affection. Spiced in the older two and three's is so energetic, creative, and fun that I wish I could stay in her class with her all day! Maria and Isabel in the older three and four's provide a nurturing and guidance that I know my daughter will take with her to kindergarten and beyond. I feel like my baby's indivuality is fostered at this school, she is allowed to be who she is on any given day, and all of her emotional needs are met- which is what I want to feel is happening when I can't be there for her myself while I'm at work. I have developed an open-door relationship with all of the staff which has helped me feel as though each member of the Buonora team is approachable when I have an issue with anything concerning my child. This has also allowed the staff to feel like they can let me know if something is happening with her that is concerning for them. I am a proactive parent when it comes to my involvement because I believe if that is your attitude and you make the staff feel respected they will go the extra mile for you and your family. Buonora definitely goes the extra mile!! They have taken all personal instructions regarding food and skin allergies very seriously, making sure those needs are always attended to. I get a phone call the second anything looks out of the ordinary concerning my daughter's behavior or physical well-being. Any time an incident has occurred, such as biting or other typical toddler behavior on behalf of my child or another against my child, a report has been given to me immediately as well as follow-ups including text messages and pictures if necessary. In addition to these procedures, I am always provided with an action plan and what the other set of parents (anonymously of course) has been told in order to make sure everyone is on the same page and working together in order to provide the healthiest community possible for all of our kids. Parent/Teacher conferences are held regularly as well as Parent Workshops built around a format that allows parents to come together and share their personal struggles and strengths in order to learn from one another. The director Candice and Co-Director Aminta are so knowledgable and helpful. I could not be happier with our choice and I trust that we will be a part of the Buonora family for many years to come! read more
