This store is big city great with small town customer service!! I've come to realize that quality is better than quantity!! I got tired of having my feet hurt and I started buying better shoes! I LOVE the shoes that I've spent a little more on and I started realizing I'm not even spending that much more! Do not order anything from them! I ordered three pairs of jeans, returned two of them. They never issued credit. After disputing it with my credit card, which removed the charges, they charged me the same amount again. I will certainly keep disputing, but in the modern day of the Internet commerce, this is a nuisance. read more

I order a pair of hand painted clogs. It was supposed to take 4-6 weeks for them to be made(charged my credit card immediately), after 3 months I cancelled the order. I have emails that stated they would refund the $219 I am owed but 7 months later no refund. Crooks!! I filed a dispute with my credit card but BurMar's did not cooperate and due to length of time cc company couldn't do anything about it!! Very disappointed. Update 2/5/2015- This review was originally posted in 2013, after more frustrating phone calls and demands for MY money back after 7 months...the company finally relented and did so (it was a nightmare dealing with this company ).But for whatever reason it just recently posted (just verified email for another review) ...and now they are blowing my phone up about this review...too bad they weren't as concerned about customer service when I was charged for something never received or even made and they kept my money for 7+ months and made me fight with them to get it back... read more

She is not honest, do not order from them! I ordered over the phone, she charged my card and four weeks later still hadn't received my shoes. She lied to me and blamed UPS for weeks. I'm not really sure if these people are fraudulent or simply a totally incompetent small business. I ordered shoes from them in January. They charged my credit card upon order, but shipped over three weeks later (after repeated requests for info). The shoes were the wrong size. They agreed to exchange them. I sent them back. 4 weeks after they received them, I was stilll bothering them to find out when the new shoes would ship. They invariably said "soon" except for the time they said they had shipped them but would send the tracking number later. Needless to say, I never received the number because the shoes were not shipped. Late March I told them I would be contacting my credit card if they a) did not ship or b) did not refund me the money. They said they would refund the money, but I should wait 14 business days for it to process. Such a process should take max 3-4 business days. In any case, I waited until 3 weeks had passed. No refund. I contacted my credit card, and they have refunded the money. No word back from Burmar. In the end it doesn't matter whether they are fraudulent or inept because they were completely incapable of delivering service. DO NOT SHOP FROM BURMAR. read more
