Bought the hard to find SE Killer Quad and it was even on sale! Great prices and friendly and fast service! Highly recommend this shop.

"Little Red" Vintage Bike - wonderful repairs.

We called to see if we could bring our bikes in for spontaneous repairs, shop was excellent. My daughters Beach cruiser needed two flats fixed and new handle grips, they decided to fix it immediately so she could have it back- My little vintage bike " Little Red" needed a few things, and after a quick chat, the guys at the store had a plan to fix, clean up and get my bike back to me same day, which was amazing. "Little Red" came back safe, sound, cleaned up and ready to roll. She's a gorgeous vintage 1960 classic kids bike, that I'm excited to continue to polish up and use for my local Nanny kids, and my family too! We really appreciated the kind, quick, and wonderful customer service and repairs to both of our bikes, had a great time at the shop, thank you to the wonderful team there. Really great work, highly recommend.

This place is sick. far the most in-stock selection of BMX, race and freestyle, bikes and parts. Very happy we stopped in. Coming back for birthday presents. Update: bought a mini ripper here and love it. It's noteworthy that sales tax in Burbank is 10.25%, which starts to make a difference when purchasing a bike.

great-bike-shop!! old school with new school tech, helpful and kind enough but to the point and they take your needs and wants seriously. we ride beach and bmx and im an 80's kid so this joint is thee best for cool stuff!! se racing and gt and redline and haro and fitbike and and and and ...you can get all the newest models both in store and ordered, and we have been lucky on multiple occasions to get last years model and hard to find color scheme or style brand new old stock! anyhow, the owner is cool, the staff is cool and mad max is the man go here for your bikes or builds!! -tt (our family pics below)

Great service, highly experienced, a lot of hard to find inventory. Small business, rare parts, a large bicycle selection.

Ask the Community - Burbank Bike Shop

Hi! I'm going for a one day bike trip, and unsure that I'll resume afterwards. Do you have a helmet…

we actually have some helmets we just marked down to $24.99

Do you do mountain bike restoration? Looking for paint / new brake levers A refresh

We do have brake lever but we dont deal in paint. My recommendation would be to strip the parts off of the bike and have powder coated

Does this location sell adult elbow and knee pads?

Do you guys install hand breaks to bikes that don't already have them?

    Yes

Hi how much for a tune up?

When that shop, lost their lease and had to close I was in a panic as I am great with financial spreadsheets but a real Clutz with anything mechanical so I called the single Canyon outlet in the USA at the time which was in Oceanside, CA. Naturally they were hesitant to name a place but with some begging I finally got a guy in their mechanic shop to recommend Stotts on Victory Boulevard in Burbank and have been very happy with them. I do a lot of charity rides including the 545-mile AIDS Life Cycle 10 times along with many local centuries in the area. Over the years I've become comfortable with telling them they type of ride I am getting ready to do and ask them to do whatever they need to get the bike ready; if it's just a small adjustment out of wack they just do it with no charge but it its more, I am always quoted a price and a reason why the work is needed. One time I went in to buy a new set of Continental Grand Prix 5000 tires and was shown why I did not need tires by showing me the tread indicators. I went in to get new brake pads once and was told I just needed a slight adjustment. I now just drop of my bike and tell them to do whatever it needs for xxx bike ride and they always call me back with a quote and a reason why. A tune up is a tune up but if more is required, they always call me to say what they recommend and the reason why. From the owner to all of the staff, I trust these guys and drive out of my way to patronize them. David Woodard

That's the thing with Burbank (I'm a born-raised Valley Boy) - who-tf is still wearing a full on train conductor outfit and buying train models like Arnold from Different Strokes? But then again, who still thinks going to a hookah bar is cool? This town apparently. Man, I miss when downtown Burbank had goth-bums hanging out in front of that one coffee shop with Alice in Wonderland painted all over the bathroom walls. I hate that stupid painting of Val Kilmer and Meg Ryan (or is it Jim Morrison and his girlfriend Pamela?) on San Fernando Blvd. down the block from that storyplace pub. As a teen, I listened to music from Manchester - cos Richard Blade (K-R-O-Q: first in Pasadena before Burbank) was spinning just great sounds, right; then Nirvana shows up -which was cool; until corp-USA missed the point entirely and started giving us Alice in Chains - worst band ever! Seriously, quit thinking they're a good band! Then, making things worst, GenX teens who thought Grunge was an off shoot of Classic Rock (nope); started this goddam Doors revival bullsh*. Leave that to your mom, man, we got our own sound! I understood Rodney "On the Rock" Bigenheimer when he sang "I hate the 90s!" Although today I totally miss them days. Honestly. Oh yah, Pure Cycles. Yah, so what I truly dig about these guys - they don't try to sell me sh* I don't need. You see, I got this Cannonball or Cannondale (?) bicycle to ride around Forest Lawn Drive up to Mineral Wells - and I want to wear one of 'em full on psycho...err...cycle outfits like the guys racing PeeWee Herman in the opening of that '85 classic movie - (filmed in Burbank, btw, cos the director was one of 'em goth-bums from Burbank). Anyhow, they're like, "no, dude, you don't need all that...just ride." So yah, if you need true guidance from a group of men who know cycling -and not trying to sell you a bunch of stuff you don't need (however, I do recommend you buy one of their riding-caps) - drive up the same street Marty McFly skate-boarded when he yelled out, "I'm late for school!" -cos these gents are just up the block from Doc's house on Victory Blvd. Alice in Chains sucks; turn up The Style Council (Paul Weller, The Jam; good stuff!) instead - those dudes have a cool video of themselves cycling called My Ever Changing Moods. Give that, and these dudes at Pure Cycle a go!

Perfect for my exercise needs. Loved it so much I bought a second one for a vacation home. The second Pure Cycle Fixie was defective. Made a lot of random noise. Took it back to the shop. They spent a lot of time on it--spokes were loose & one was stripped. They also readjusted the chain. Bike still noisy. Took it in again. Mechanic said spokes were loose & made other adjustments. His colleague test rode it out the shop door to show me that they'd fixed the problem. Clunk, snap, snap, clunk--audible over busy traffic & from 40 feet away. Shop explained that the wheel manufacturing at Pure was automated & they sometimes don't get it right. Shop offered another round with the mechanic. I just returned the bike. Got my money back, but a huge disappointment & waste of time.
