He picked out the old lock and upgraded the lock set and keys. After our first positive experience, we had him rekey our house. It had 6 different keys, an absolute nightmare. Now we have one!! His very next purchase was to get a replacement key made. Using his own hard earned money, he paid Affordable Security $213 to get a second key fob cut and programmed. June 20 - Made an appointment, nobody showed up. Nobody called. June 27 - Second appointment. Tech showed up but not at the scheduled time. He cut and programmed a key. The fob he brought had buttons for a van with automatic sliding doors even though the appointment was for a Chrysler 300. I said it was fine because we just wanted to have a working second key fob. After the tech left I realized the original key no longer worked. Assuming it was the battery I took both fobs apart to swap batteries. In doing so, I discovered the original Chrysler chip had been swapped into the new van key. The tech hadn't programmed the new key despite charging for it. My son still had only one working key and was out $213. Called Affordable Security, explained the situation, and booked a third appointment. July 1 - Third appointment. Took time off work in order to meet with the locksmith. Nobody showed up. No call. No answer to my calls or response to my voicemail. July 2 - Made forth appointment using their automated system. (They were no longer answering my calls). No call, no tech showed up. July 3 - Called again from my wife's phone since they didn't seem to want to answer calls from my phone. They answer. I again explain the situation. They are apologetic and say they're going to call the tech to see what's going on and call me right back. No call back, no answer when I call back hours later from either phone. Drove to their physical address, which is a shed in a parking lot. Nobody there. Called the number on the shed. No answer. July 6 - called and made appointment with their automated system and used the online portal to book two separate appointments. No shows for both. No call. No answer when I call any of their numbers. Even though I received confirmation through text and email.

(sep 9): finally got an appointment. 2 hours past my appointment I am told the technician got their only machine wet from the rain and monday they will send it to florida to get fixed and MAYBE id get a rescheduled appointment whenever available after the machine gets back from repair, whenever that would be. not first appointment, but whenever they have an open appointment! I don't know if it's that guys first day and he took the machine out of the vehicle to cut keys in the rain or what but this is highly unprofessional. all of it. absolutely ridiculous.
