I don't like the burgers. The chicken club is good. The item we get most frequently is the fried chicken, it's very good; I'd give it four stars except it's a little pricey. They sometimes have a coupon promo for dark meat that's reasonable but other than that, you'd get more value at one of the two newer places in town. Called in an order 7 hours prior to when I needed it for Super Bowl and received a call 30 minutes before my pick up time to tell me they ran out even though my order was placed ahead of time. I guess people who plan ahead get screwed and they just give it out first come first served. read more

I stopped coming here because they are a little overpriced. The other day i decided to try it again and get something different. i tried the grilled chicken Panini and I thought it was a great deal. The Panini comes with fries, a drink and coleslaw. Although I wish it was possible to change the coleslaw for something different. It came out to about $10 but it was extremely filling and very good. The good part is that they are open 24 hours, the only disadvantage is that sometimes you are waiting an extremely long time but you know your food is fresh and it's still good. read more

This is very hard for me to rate. The old Burger Express was AWESOME. The new building itself is hard to navigate with a larger vehicle. Food is Great when you go inside to eat, not always that way with the drive thru. I wish the burgers were hand made with fresh ground meat and not burnt on the outside and raw to overcooked on the inside. read more

Yay! Burger Express is back. Sure it no longer has the huge sign advertising cheese fries and they've fancied it up a bit, as much as you can with a bar on the back. But the food is just the same, maybe not where you'd go for dinner but how do you beat it at 2am? As good fried chicken as you can get in Jersey, hamburgers, gravy & cheese fries. Seems as if since they have opened and continually expand, the place is on the road to death. Was there today as I thought last trip was a fluke, could not get my order right, help tripping over one another, the Bar upstairs has the noise of the Port Authority at rush hour. Needless to say, nice place but no service, management.... how long do you think this is gonna last? I am (was ) an old time customer who doubts I will return again.. very poor! Not to mention i wound up getting my money back tonight, as they could not produce my chicken sandwich for some reason. Night crew is horrible, I called and placed my order and I was paying with a card. I had to tell her my card information 4 times before she was able to submit it and send my order out. The lady on the phone told me it would be a half hour. It took them an hour to get me my food. I would not recommend this to a friend. Absolutely absurd. read more

I placed an order for a steak burger and fries with cheese, plus and express burger. The order was delivered with bacon. I called back to advise the establishment and I was greeted with an attitude. I was told the order would be replaced advised to return the unwanted order to the driver. I then went further in my order and noticed that I had two orders of fries. I called back to see if I was charged for the additional fries and I was advised that the additional fries were given to me for free and as I attempted to go over the charges I was met with an attitude. I asked to speak to the general manager and the woman on the phone claimed to be the General Mgt. I asked if I could get her email address so that I could file a formal complaint about her customer service and she threatened to call the police on me and hung the phone up. I never got her name but she did say she was the woman that took my order. My order total was 27.37 which included a $5.00 tip for the driver. After going over the order my Steak Burger was 12.25, Express Burger 4.95 and 2.04 all total: 19.24 + 5.00 tip total 24.24 so I get the tax was added but so was an unwanted attitude. I was a regular customer but I will no longer go there and I don't recommend you go there either. To honest with you, I don't think they like African American People. read more

was there on 09/29/2016 at 7pm, there was just 2 more tables , not busy at all, order the burger express very basic nothing to great about it bun was cold and hard, fries where also cold and cheese is not good quality at all, very soggy fries, also purchase the chicken sandwich and was not able to eat it cold bun and cold chicken had 4 pieces of chicken wings which surprisingly was the best thing i had from there mash potato its from the box and gravy was not good at all, price was way to high for the quality of food they are delivering to the public, it i could rate this lower than 1 i wish i could spend $32.00 and threw away 3 quarter of the food, did not felt like returning the food and ordering something else since i hear so many bad things that happens to the people that return food and what they do to your food if you complain so just left but will never return . read more
