The staff are pleasant and friendly, and willing to help offer suggestions if you aren't sure what to order. Burgers are all made to order. The salad is fresh, delicious and dressed with a light, well-paired house vinaigrette that doesn't overpower the delicate lettuces. Burgers are fairly large--consider sharing with a friend if your appetite isn't terribly big! Fries are perfectly crisp with a sprinkle of salt. They offer several dipping sauces (try the curry sauce!!! So good and a very mild curry flavor). They don't carry the typical fountain sodas, but a bottle of Fritz Cola is an excellent upgrade substitute for Coca Cola! The restaurant is immaculately clean, with likewise clean and nice restroom facilities. I enjoyed a very pleasant lunch here--as an English speaker stranded in Munich due to an epic snowstorm, it was also pretty cool that the staff spoke Englisch.

The selections of burgers and its toppings were plentiful ranging from the basics (hamburger, cheeseburger) to their themed specials such as "Rotkäppchen," "Jägersmann," "Großmutter." Non-beef eaters, fear not, they have chicken or vegetarian patties as well. We ordered the night specials: burger with sides + large drink for the price of burger + 6 EUR. There were lots of choices, so we had to order like this: Toppings: BBQ-sauce, cheese, fried onions with additional mushrooms (for 30 cents extra) Meat: 140 g beef patty (fresh from the daily market as advertised) Bread: whole grain (can choose between wheat or whole grain) Side: crispy onion rings with BBQ sauce Drink: "Saftschorle" And repeat another order with "Rotkäppchen" (rucola, cheese, balsamic-fig dressing) / vegetarian patty / whole grain / fries / beer. I was quite happy with my BBQ burger. Beef was cooked medium well but not too dry. We came across it on our first night and went back at least 2 more times on our stay. Everything we tried was great and even for it being such a busy season we had great service and while packed didn't feel overwhelming or crowded. From current reviews it sounds like they may have switched to a digital menu but we had a paper one when we were there. Seriously can't wait to go back and hopefully it's as good as we remember.
