Five stars? Yup. This is definitely a five star burger joint. As we walked in, we were greeted immediately and handed a menu. It was borderline overwhelming, but I thumbed through it pretty quickly. There are tons of options that look amazing. You can even build your own burger. I went safe with the Burgerfi Burger and cry & fry (mixed onion rings and fries). The burger had two patties, but wasn't huge. It was so dang tasty. you can order the fries "well done," which means they come crispy. I also opted for vinegar and salt. Amazing! The food was awesome. Burger Fi reminds me of Five Guys, but a more modern, upscale version. I had a Bacon cheeseburger, the parmesan fries with aioli, and a red velvet milk shake. All of that was $22, but I used a 15% off coupon and my total was $18.05. The store sells alcohol. If the fries weren't seasoned, I wouldn't have cared for them at all. The onion rings were great! My first time at BurgerFi and I ordered the Breakfast All Day Burger with regular size Fresh Cut Fries. It was definitely filling and more than enough for one person. My roommate came along with me. She ordered the BurgerFi Cheeseburger with Cajun fries. She also later ordered one of their concretes; she's been here several times so she knew what she wanted. My burger was pretty good; juicy and tender. My fries on the other hand were somewhat darker colored and most were stuck together. I'm not sure if that's how the fries were suppose to look if they were freshly cut. I would have to say, I had better fries elsewhere. The soda machine is cool, although I had water as my drink. The decoration for the restaurant is nice. I really like the huge ceiling fans, with lots of blades, that they have. There was a long table with old-style/vintage chandelier and cool light bulbs for group parties, which I thought was an awesome idea. Friendly service at the counter but terribly expensive for the quality. We sat out side and as first timers didn't notice the condiments inside. When our food was delivered there were no napkins on or condiments. My wife took one bite of her burger and said...brace your self. The burger was cold and dry and honestly I've seen thicker pickle slices than meat on this burger. For two small burgers, one medium fry and two 20oz Coke's totaling more than $22, I expected a whole lot better! Hate to give a bad review but this place needs work. read more

If you've never been to a Burger Fi it's time to stop in. For those who are unfamiliar, BurgerFi is a new, upcoming chain, that's about to be America's next hottest chain. I've been to them them in six states since summer and they seem to be popping up everywhere, particularly on college campuses. This is the first of three set to stand tall in Alabama in the next few weeks (Tuscaloosa and Tiger Town are next). It's an upbeat place, with great service, quality food and well, in Auburn, great scenery. For those who have been to Five Guys, this is a full step better, if not more. Why come to Burger Fi? And, what keeps me visiting locations across the country? Consistency, for starters. Regardless of what you order, it's perfect every time, and they rarely make mistakes on orders. I'm also addicted to their strawberry lemonade. It's fresh and tastes incredible, although their sweet tea is solid, too. Meanwhile, the focus here is burgers and fries and they do a great job at delivering in that department and while it won't be the greatest burger you've ever had (unless you're used to eating fast-food) for as quick as it gets to your table and the cost -you can't beat it. Keep in mind, nothing is frozen here and the premium toppings (which there's an endless number of are of quality. You won't find microwaved bacon on your burger here. The grilled onions taste great and, for example, the jalapenos taste like they came from a farm down the street, not a bag or can. A trip to Burger Fi isn't complete without an order or fries or onion rings and unless you're a 300-pound lineman you'll want to go with a regular size. The portions are huge. We've tried several types of fries, including regular, Cajun and Parmesan, all of which are hand cut and made onsite, rather than the frozen kind available at most fast food chains. The onion rings are enormous. In short, if you want a burger (and a beer with it), are a fan of top-quality hot dogs (they have those too) and don't want to pay too much (they are cheaper than restaurant style burgers) you can come here, watch a game on TV (the restaurant it littered with them) and enjoy a meal with friends and family here. read more

I placed an on-line order at Burger-Fi in Auburn. Less than 2 hours later I was notified by my CC company regarding fraudulent charges. Someone across the country attempted to use my card information. A few weeks later my husband placed an order using his card and the he too was contacted with the same nonsense. After the second time we reached out to management at Burger Fi and were told this was not possible. We are trusting the CC company will handle this as they covered the fraudulent charges. read more

BRAVOOO! BurgerFI has some of the best burgers that I have ever tried and I don't know if you have ever had their milk shake but I totally recommend their chocolate milk shakes. Anyway, I came here for another reason. To talk about one of their employees. I am going to be completely honest when I say I have never seen someone as SMOCKING HOT as this fine man in front of me. Absolutely LOVE BurgerFi!!! The customer service is definitely hands down the friendliest in town by far. (Being in a wheelchair it's hard to find that level of smiles and customer service,) but I was literally met at the door and handed a menu when I came in. Everyone is extremely friendly and no matter how you choose to order your food, they are more than happy to place your order as you choose. Upon entrance, the loud music, coupled with the acoustics of the dining area that seems to require everyone yell at their dining mates, makes for a pretty unnerving beginning. The menu is easy enough to navigate, but you're going to need to speak up a little so the cashier can take your order. The actual food is very much above average. Very good burgers and fries. I had the hotdog once, and it was very good too, but kinda hate spending $6.50 on a hotdog. The tables and chairs aren't great, but that seems a bit picky. BurgerFi is a bizarre restaurant. I went in there today to grab a quick meal to go and was completely and totally overwhelmed by the atmosphere of the place. The music, kitchen(which has a large open window behind the front counter) and patrons are deafening. That's a bit of an exaggeration, but I had to lean across the counter to hear the girl taking my order (PoR: I'm 21 not some old man). For all the overpowering atmosphere, the food was pretty great. I got the Supreme Burger and Alternate Fries, both on the secret menu. I would recommend getting a double patty if you're hungry. All in all I think the meal was on par with or better than the best burgers I've had in Auburn. The food was good enough that I'll certainly be back for more despite my few complaints. read more

Well, I'm going to rock the boat with a bad review. Everyone I talked to raved about this place... and I mean RAVED. I was told I had to get one of the frozen concretes, and that they were delicious. I decided to give it a try and stopped in before heading out of town after a gameday weekend. I like just about everything about the decor, friendliness, service, etc... but my concrete was TERRIBLE. I got the OMC (Oh My Chocolate), a 1440 calorie (according to the menu) dose of cocoa confection. "Chocolate custard, peanut butter, brownie, chocolate chips, and chocolate sprinkles." On paper, it sounds awesome. I love chocolate peanut butter things, and after hearing so much about this place, I had high hopes. I have never been so let down by hype. My concrete was probably 50% chocolate chips, 20% Brownie, 10% sprinkles, and 10% custard. No peanut butter (at least, that was noticeable). It was like a ball of dry toppings held together by custard. There were literally clumps of chocolate chips that were completely dry and untouched by any custard at all. I get that the concrete is supposed to be chunky, but it shouldn't feel like I'm eating a cup full of toppings. I don't know if this is normal or if it was just that the person preparing it didn't care, but the result was disgusting. I attempted to salvage it by asking for some/more peanut butter, of which I was obliged with a liquid peanut butter sauce (?), but I just couldn't eat any more. More than half of it was thrown out. Since I was satisfied with their BurgerFi Cheeseburger last time over in Kennesaw, GA, I decided to give their Breakfast All Day Burger a go this time around. It's full of hash browns, egg, bacon, and beef. There is also maple syrup drizzled on it, but I asked for the maple syrup on the side and ended up not trying it with any syrup at all - I personally felt the burger was savory enough and needed nothing else. The maple syrup reminded me of the Sublime Doughnut from Cypress Street over in ATL. I asked my boyfriend for feedback since he took a few bites with the maple syrup, but he did not care for it (neither did the cashier who took the order when I asked for suggestions). Just driving through the area. Used YELP to help us find somewhere for dinner. Burgerfi was rated well and close to our hotel. We figured we would give it a try. I'm When we got there, there was so much restricted parking for everything else in the area we ended up having to park in the middle of nowhere. Why CVS needs that much parking I'll never understand. Restaurant was being cleaned and mopped when we got there. It was like 8:45ish and they closed at 10:00. I have never really liked it when restaurants mop and clean while there is food still being served. Oh well. Anyways, my wife and I both got burgers and shared the urban fries. My wife got the Burgerfi Cheeseburger and I got the Breakfast All Day Burger. Food came out quickly and was hot. Burgers were juicy and well put together. Fries were on the room temp side of things. Would have liked them hotter but toppings were good overall. I wasn't a fan of the small container my burger came in. My wife's burger had a wrapper she could lay out at least. I ended up having to eat over napkins. People seemed impressed by the soda machines but they have become more common in even newer fast food locations so nothing special really. I wasn't very happy that when I ordered tea and went to get it I was told that they were out of tea for the night. I don't know if they were trying to expedite the closing process cause they only had about a few hours left open, or what. They didn't seem overly concerned. Overall it was a good experience. Burgers were priced right along the lines of competitors such as five guys etc. which I thought was fair for the quality and ability to customize. I have my daughter the choice of any restaurant to go to for dinner thinking she might pick a place she hasn't been to, can't afford on a college budget ...etc. Well, let me tell you, I was surprised when she said she wanted to go to a burger joint. It was a game night and the place was hopping but the staff was polite and friendly and the food was a great value. Big juicy, fresh double burgers, hand cut fries that is drive miles to eat. The general manager offered to take care of my next lunch and meet with me about my concerns. I declined because I never meant to slam the place - only paint an honest, and personal assessment of my experience. I met a couple of business colleagues at BurgerFi for lunch late last week (their choice) and ordered the All Day Breakfast burger and the secret menu fries. The burger was much better this time, and those fries really are worth your visit! As I told the GM in my email, I suspect I caught them too soon after they opened.
