Less than impressed. 1st time going to burgerfi and will more than likely be my last. At least at this location. Set up is nice. It's a larger version of chipotle with a large sliding door entry and indoor/ outdoor seating. Menu easy to read. Everything here is a la cart. For a double bacon cheese burger and a regular side of onion rings expect to pay $15.00. The burger is a decent size but lacks flavor. I wasn't aware that if you wanted any kind of vegetables like lettuce and tomato you have to ask for it. The onion rings are massive. A regular order comes with 5 thick cut onion rings. They were undercooked and extremely greasy. They also need salt. The 2 staff members I encountered seemed to be not enthused to be at work. Both had extremely dry personalities and only wanted to take orders and give food. Overall nice esthetic, bland food, dry service. UPDATE... within hours of eating this food I became nauseated. The worst service I've ever received after coming here for years-- normally I would let this slide but the cold food and making my order completely wrong is annoying. Given BurgerFi is within walking distance to where we live, it's fair to say we come here quite often. It's fast, the staff has always been pleasant, and they have one of the mega huge Coke machines that lets you mix just about any Coke beverage imaginable. So yea, you could say we dig this place. The menu has a lot of options, but I usually stuck with their double cheeseburger . There was one time I ordered the salt and vinegar ships as a topping and although it sounded good, the chips quickly became soggy, so I've skipped it since. On a side note, the quinoa burger is always something I mean to get but instead I choose the gluttonous route. The cry and fries is a happy medium that includes fries and onion rings, but it's even better with their parmesan herb topping. Also, I noticed a few times they have a branded Smartcar in the parking lot and can only hope they'll deliver sometime in the future...because there's nothing better than being gluttonous and lazy. read more

As I write this I feel like a cheating 'ho. I am an unabashed Shake Shack bitch and haven't really found any fast casual burger that comes close to my beloved Shackurger...until now. BurgerFi reminds me a lot of the Shack - from the interior colors, to the buzzer system , to the frozen custards, to even the employee uniforms. Surprisingly the burgers here are also very similar to the Shack. The BurgerFi Cheeseburger could be the Double Shackburger's twin - Cloud Soft Buns cradling two succulent cheese covered beef patties. The BurgerFi Sauce is even similar to Shack Sauce! It's not cheating if they look alike is it? It may sound sacrilegious, but BurgerFi has almost got the Shackburger beat. ALMOST. Shake Shack wins on a slightly better tasting patty and better quality greens. However, all BurgerFi burgers are doubles so at less than $6, BurgerFi has the Shack beat on price ($8 for a shack double). BurgerFi also has the Shack beat on the following: 1) Fries - Absolutely superior to the Shack's ore-ida fries. Also, you can get a bunch of stuff on your fries including salt & vinegar, chili, and cheese 2) Beer Selection - much better at BurgerFi and only $3.75 for a draft vs $5 3) Chicago Dog- BurgerFi does a very admirable Chicago dog vs the pitiful one that the Shack puts out. 4) Grass Fed beef - pretty darn good tasting. 5) Cool Soda machines - although it's annoying how many muppets can't figure out how to use them. This place is located in Aventura next to Fresh Market... It is clean and has several inside tables. Service is over the counter and pretty decent! Still love their fries and onion rings, but cost increases have taken BFi beyond reality. Most staggering is $2.97 for a fountain drink, which is outrageous. One square of 5-cent American cheese will run you $1. I asked for vinegar and was told the usual cost is $1 (vinegar is sold by the gallon, so costs nearly nothing). Just wow. I ate here this week for the first time and it was delicious! I got a single stack burger with just cheese, bacon, mushrooms, mayo and ketchup to keep it simple. I love the fact that the bread is potato bread I believe so it is very soft :) The food was made fresh and I was very happy with it. I also had some fries with Cajun spices. They were good, just had to dip them in ketchup to cool them down a bit. They are all natural burgers so I am glad I did not feel gross after eating the burger. BurgerFi is the East Coast Version of In-N-Out but a Premium Fast Food Franchise. We dropped in to the Aventura location located in the adjoining Strip Mall South of Fresh Market. The BurgerFi Cheeseburger was very close to In-N-Out on the West Coast, maybe a slightly higher quality of meat. The small order of Fries is very large. They have the new Coca Cola Machines that serve many different types of drinks owned by Coca Coca including Fanta (Cherry, Raspberry -- sorry no Vitamin Water) -- many you've never heard of. The one drawback, at this location in Aventura, there may be many very young kids going to the Self-Serve Soda Machine with no supervision. Watching them get their own ice, push the buttons, fill their drinks and no doubt spill some on the floor might bother some adults. BTW, when I was there a technology limited dad was helping his kid with the soda machine, he had to ask where the ice was (Push the Lever all the way back). After I filled the W's cup with Coke Zero, he told me to leave the setting there -- sorry bro, I had to fill my cup with Powerade (non-carbonated). The Condiments including Ketchup and Napkins are located between the Coke Machines. That's a bad design because it tends to get as crowded as Costco filling your drink or just getting a Napkin. There is ample open seating inside and a large courtyard of tables outside. read more

I must admit I like beef burgers and I like the french fries and I like the soft drink selection and I like the beer. But I do not like that I've been coming here since it opened and for the first time today they told me they had a rewards program. The cashier, Cal, is the only cashier ever to tell me there was a rewards program. There is no signage at least no obvious signage that there is a rewards program.My office is around the corner And I frequent the place. The management at this restaurant must really not want people to get any rewards. I've been eating here forever really pissed off now. Somehow this didn't post the first time but I'm back again today and despite corporate contacting Management the loyalty program is still not working today. They did put up the sign to their credit and the freebie they offered me was something simple like a french fry for all the aggravation I've been through. We brought my dog on the hike so we had to sit outside and take turns going in and ordering which was completely fine. They ended up bringing out a cup of water for Captain to drink which was super sweet. The food was awesome, even captain enjoyed sharing part of our burgers with us.
