Fries are tasting good, looking home made, although it is not said to be done homemade. Staff was friendly but as it is getting busy it is all a bit to much for them. The guy who does the burgers shouts out your number (which is tiny written on your receipt) but as someone didn't react straight away he came and made a fuss. Never mind, it is quite cool to go to but i would not go if it is too buy. Seating is limited.

Upon seeing it was still a nice pink, I realized it was simply not made into a nice fluffy patty but that the life had been squished out of it. I had avocado on mine or at least it should have been. It looked like avocado but tasted like crunchy nothing. Last I checked avocados should not be crunchy! If the avocados aren't ripe, it's better to say you don't have any. Would also be nice to know that they only accept cash before you get to the front of the line, and it was a long line.
Really good burgers, priced not that hight. Super!

I had the bacon cheeseburger with chili cheese fries and a bottled water. Points for tasty and crisp bacon and bun, but the patty was dry-ish and lacked flavor. It was cooked past medium well, almost well done. Biggest complaint was the chili cheese fries, the chili tasted like it came out of a can and the cheese was just a nacho cheese-type sauce layered on top. Not the worst place to grab a bite, but I wouldn't recommend it if there are other food options in your plan.

The dining rooms are not well-designed: there is a lot of space, but the table configuration leaves very few seating possibilities. It's also often messy and dirty. The employees are rude and condescending, and continually get orders wrong. They are out of half the options every time, but only let you know at the very end of your order, sometimes even after you've already paid. I once waited ten minutes for a McFlurry; I was finally handed a cup of plain ice cream, with no toppings nor sauce, and was told after I complained: "oh we're out of all the toppings." I know there are not many cheap and fast options for a warm lunch downtown Freiburg, but you'll be better off with the Chinese take out around the corner, or the Nordsee (the German Long John Silver's) up the street. There are also a salad bar and a Thai soup place one block down, where you can get a much better meal for exactly the same price. Avoid this McDonald's at all costs.
