We were served right away with a wait of less than than 10 minutes, even though there was a lot of clients. We also did not have to wait much for the drinks and food. The food was delicious and we were able to have conversations regardless of all the people. I recommend it

Visiting from out of town and found this joint for a bit to eat and it did not disappoint. Staff were friendly, checked in on us frequently and the food was delicious. There are a ton of options so it can take some time decide but it was all delicious. Definitely recommend it.

Servers were great ! Fast and friendly! Love the TVs everywhere and great contemporary music! We had the bacon burger. The bacon was very crispy and flavorful! We also had the fish tacos and they were delicious! The sauce was a good compliment for the tacos. We also had our grandson Gavin celebrate his birthday here! The girls did a great happy birthday song.

Parking: Came here on a Saturday, plenty of parking I assume throughout the week, if we didn't have any issue during a Saturday afternoon. Food: This restaurant offers tons of options for all ages within your party. Adults to children, items to satisfy everyone. We had adults, and children in our party, and everyone came out happy. Drinks: This location offers a full bar, so if you're looking to enjoy an adult beverage, and some sports you are at the right place. They offer your other non alcoholic drinks as well. Seating: Plenty of seating inside, and out. We were seated quickly, despite our size of our party (7), we were seated no problem. Recommendation: Absolutely, especially if you're a sports fan. They have tons of tv's to watch featured sporting events.

Delicious Cheese Burger with side salad instead to fries. I have gotten the fries before and they are very good

Burgers & Beers is always a great dining experience. They have a full menu but I always get the burger because it is so good. The service is good. B&B has plenty of TVs to watch the sports games. It can get busy because of their popularity. The parking lot can get full if it is busy but there is also street parking.

Military veteran here...took my family to eat and noticed on the menu that they offer 15% discount with ID...got the bill for $91.80 with only a $3.78 Discount. Keep in mind I paid the bill and gave the waitress a $10 tip. Talked to the manager and he said Burgers and Beer doesn't discount the bill for the entire family. If this is true Burgers and Beer?

I intended to travel the entire 2,600-mile length of the Pacific Crest Trail, but my adventure unceremoniously ended in El Centro under a tree about 60 miles east of my starting point. The paramedics told me that hiking is not for everyone. After a desperate two weeks of hiking with little food and water through BLM land tracks, old service roads, and desert washes, as best I can recall, I finally set up camp in El Centro under a farmer's tree near his washing line. Soon after the farmer called the police about my campfire, the authorities and my ex-wife found me in a state of delerium hosting a tea party under a large avocado tree wearing the farmer's wife's plus size nightgown while serving "cups of chai tea" to a sizable pile of rotten avocados and a rusty shovel that I thought was "Jan" from those Toyota commercials. My first real meal after being found by the authorities and my ex-wife was at D'Poly Taco Grill and Beer. D'Poly was the perfect welcome back to civilization as it has a spectacular menu full of delicious Mexican cuisine like street tacos, flautas, sopes and empanadas. The Lineman burrito is my absolute favorite. And they have a wonderful breakfast menu! It's fast casual dining, but it has a sort of classic and moody vibe that gives off a more upscale feel. Love it! A wonderful place to break free of your delusions. My ex-wife tried to tell me that hiking is not for everyone. Thankfully, the paramedics found my emergency contact list and phoned my ex-wife who showed up and broke me out of my stupor by making me drop my emotional support avocado, taking me by the shoulders and shaking me vigorously while yelling "it's over, it's over!" Ironically, that was the same way she told me we were getting divorced. I'm not a quitter, so it takes a while for me to give up. I've since tried many items on the D'Poly menu and everything is exceptional, though I do avoid adding avocado. It's just too soon. Thank you D'Poly Taco Grill and Beer! Five stars.

Don't you just love it when a restaurant gets things right?…read more Owners Roberto and Rina ("Reina") Perez have figured out how to prepare and present home cooking in a commercial setting, and, in doing so, have shown that they understand the importance of "home" in that construct. Some of this is no surprise to me. Reina is cousin to Rodnia Attiq (nee Navarro), who, with her mother Rosario Sotelo owned San Diego's El Borrego for almost 25 years, until they closed their business at the end of 2025. Having been welcomed and fed many times with homely care at El Borrego, I'm not surprised that the family connection - and the warmth and hospitality included in it - extends to Cousin Reina. If you're having a bad day, it's worth dropping in for a bite to eat just so you can say "hi" to her. Between the food and the greeting you'll receive, you'll leave feeling better about things. So what to eat? Depending on the time of day and how hungry you are, you'll be pleased with Cazuelitas; Pozole Rojo or the herby Guerrero-style Pozole Verde; hearty Tlacoyos; large Enchilada plates; or probably my favorite Mexican dish, Mixiote de Borrego, which is lamb that's spiced, marinated and slow-steamed until it falls off the bone. I've eated most of those things and seen the rest on my fellow diners' tables. Especially now that El Borrego is gone, if El Centro wasn't a two-hour drive from my house, I'd be a regular, so that I could continue sampling the superb and wide-ranging menu at Antojito Como En Casa.

When we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty with only about two tables of customers. Despite that, we were not greeted at the door and no one acknowledged us. We were left standing there trying to figure out if we were supposed to wait to be seated or seat ourselves, which already set a negative tone for the visit. That lack of attention ended up foreshadowing the rest of the service. After we were seated, everyone else at our table eventually received their food except me. When we were finally able to get the waitress's attention to ask about my order, she realized that my plate had been given to another table. By that point, I had already been waiting around 25 minutes, and I was on a limited lunch break, so the delay was extremely frustrating. To make matters worse, when it came time to pay, I was charged more than what I had actually ordered. At that point, I was so disappointed and pressed for time that I did not even bother disputing it and just wanted to leave. I want to note that this experience occurred at the Antojitos on Main Street location, not the Desert Gardens location. I truly hope management can address these issues, because first impressions matter, and this visit left a lot to be desired.
