Parking facilities can be found at the castle directly. Bus line 92 stops right at the castle, the closest station is Bergheimer Hof (U6 and U13). But walking along the road which connects Solitude directly with Ludwigsburg Castle is a rather pleasant one. From the top of hill you'll be rewarded by the breathtaking view at Stuttgart Weilimdorf and Korntal. The inside of castle (11 rooms to see) can be visited by a guided tour. It's nice but the outside is much more impressive!
