I love the outdoor patio (it's a courtyard and has plants and is attractive). I think there are outdoor heaters in cooler weather. The terrace is a smaller raised platform inside the courtyard, it might be covered which would be nice in case of rain. I have never eaten inside the restaurant building as I'm usually there in nice weather and love the patio. Service is friendly, there is nice wine and some decent beers. I am usually dying to go here after days of German kitchens where my veg options are so limited. Highly recommended. Everyone I know who has been here has loved it. The building was once a brewery and is in Old Town Bamberg and on your way to/from the beer kellers on Oberer Stephensburg.

We thought the main meal was suppose to be Filet Mignon Steak, but to our surprise, it was 2 small slices of Roast Beef. Although it tasted great, I was not there to pay 120 Euros for a main meal of Roast Beef. The Potatoes that came out with the main meal were cut in a perfect square, giving the idea that it came from a pre made pan, and tasted HORRIBLE. I told our waiter (Mario) about it and to try to fix the problem, he gave my wife and I a shot (Although it was New Year's, we didn't really care for a shot of alcohol to reconcile given we were drinking wine and not in our younger years anymore!). The dessert finally showed up at 2330 and it was a little chunk of ice cream and some terrible panna cotta that we didn't even eat. So from 1750 to 2340, 120 Euros for the meal, 85 Euros for our drinks, 1 free shot, and a not so good meal, we will never do this again with this place. On a side note, we have been here several times on regular occasions. The side dishes are great. Their steak is very very good and we always love eating the same thing here. Worth a shot to try it once or twice.

I was not expecting that, but i had the feeling some of the fish tapas were taken directly from the freezer to the pan. The best was the breads and the anchovies in vinegar. They were delicious. Peppers were also very nice, but they are not padron variety, as announced. Do not order the fried olives, they are simply horrible. I dont know who orders those, as far as I know they are not usually eaten in Spain, at least I had not try them before that night in Nuremberg. They were not good at all, such a weird taste and it was like eating fat plus fat but not the tasty fat. Avoid to spend money on that. For the rest, very cute decor (bullfighters and dancers, very 'fake typical Spanish' in a very festive environment where you can see locals enjoying the wine and tapas like if there the real deal.

It was cooked perfectly and absolutely melted in your mouth. -Solomillo al Salmolejo: This pork loin fillet was a total game-changer. This slow-cooked chicken in red wine sauce was pure heaven.
