When I went to burial site there was a huge spray of at least 2 dozen roses. They showed little to no respect to large family that has given them far too many services. Prices weren't our main concern, but it helped that we weren't taken advantage of. He was willing to accommodate all of our requests, some were really out of the way. Regardless, he did not intend to charge us more. Michael did not take advantage of the situation, especially at this time of loss. There were plenty of parking spaces and ease of attending the service. Mark helped direct the traffic and even personally delivered the remains to our home. Most of the Cambodian community did not even know of this place. I am glad I found Perez Funeral homes on Google. Don't hesitate, call Michael, he will take care of you. From what I saw, they did an amazing job: staff were there to help, keep everything running well, and be inconspicuous when they're not needed. The parking lot wasn't very big, but there was a sign with directions to another lot that I didn't need. My friend who died had a lot of friends and the line went down the street so I'm not sure any parking lot would have been big enough. And it all worked out. While I hope to never lose another friend, it's going to happen. And if I happen to go back to Conte, I'll smile thinking good things about my late friend and the job that they did from my limited perspective as a mourner.

The grounds are historic- take a look at the massive granite columns outside in the parking lot. They are part of the former Searles estate and the whole thing was quite impressive. The inscription had to be changed after it…read morehad been drafted by the stone cutters and although there is usually a charge for this service, they knew dad was not in a position to absorb the extra expense and offered to make the change at no additional expense to him. They were patient and helpful to him during the process. We heartily appreciated this gift. When you are grieving, all the small details that have to be addressed can be mentally exhausting. The owners here were very respectful and truly went out of their way to make us feel at ease with the process. This has been an excellent experience for us and makes us realize it would have been best to have already put a headstone at the grave site when the plot was purchased, before illness set in, before it was needed, before grief made it so much more difficult. As with any business, people are not perfect. They have a lot they are juggling and they are dealing with grieving clients. We took it upon ourselves to follow up on things because we wanted to be sure they were taken care of. We would call them and let them know when we would be available to stop by so they were ready for us and so on. They also called dad to keep him updated on the process. They dug the hole at the grave, and installed the base ahead of time and delivered the stone before the promised date. They did all the coordinating with the cemetery. I can not thank this family enough for the help provided and kindness shown. Thank you.

I had a large, five-step stairway with a landing made of concrete blocks and I wanted it demolished and rebuilt with stone. I wanted granite, and even while our country was facing nationwide shortages, Justin was able to provide the exact stones we discussed. He even took the time to track down additional historic granite stones to add more character to the stairway - more than I thought was possible. His crew's craftsmanship is exceptional. And, I imagine those stairs will be around for 100 years or more, so it's worth it to hire the best. Justin is great to work with because he's smart, honest, and reliable.
