This store has very bad water damage / mold growing on the celling. Came in at 9 months pregnant to get last minute baby items and almost all the shelves were 1/4 full. Came in when it's 89 degrees outside to the heater feeling like it was pumping. As someone who's sensitive to mold it became a very dangerous situation very fast. Be warned. read more

Let's start by saying this is one of the worst Burlington stores I have ever been in in my life. Inventory beyond low customer service medium. I asked the young lady at the register. What's going on with your inventory you have absolutely nothing. Her comment was we get our shipments on Tuesday come back tomorrow.. someone else in the store who works there stated I don't know. I was out for three days and when I came back, we didn't have anything in stock but a customer there tells me they're like this all the time they never have anything.. If I could I would leave 0 stars. It's snowing and 42 degrees outside and I was told that it's the summer shipment and that's the reason that there is not 1 single coat in the entire building. It's in the middle of nowhere and has terribly selection and the place looks shabby like it's been "under construction " for 3 years straight. Moral of the story is, don't waste your time! I like shopping in this store for great new deals and affordable prices, but the only thing I don't like about this store is that i always smells like a gas chamber. The store odor is so loud it makes it uncomfortable to shop for long periods of time without at least masking up or double masking. The pickens are slim when it comes to shopping in the HD. Very slim, highlights would be Target, Marshall's, Kohl's or Burlington. They do have a huge shoe selection where both my son and husband have scored some goods at great prices, also clothes they have found here. HUGE sizes, up to 5 or 6 XL, well stocked and clean store. Service is fine, tons of parking out front, never full inside. read more

The line to pay starts at the 2-3 cashiers then it curves around to various departments and ending at suitcase isle. Which is a very very long line. 1hr and 25 mins to pay!!! I don't come here often. This store used to be a great spot to come and buy shoes. There is shoe selection needs to be amazing. I am not quite sure what happened. They have some very gorgeous purses if you're into purses. I want to comes to men's clothing they don't have much to choose from. I think Ross does a better job at keeping their store with more variety. read more

As always, the store has an odd smell to it. But that wasn't the main issue. Besides the long lines and only two cashiers, the store is an absolute mess! There is trash all throughout it, clothes are mis-matched and put on incorrect size hangars, and there is women's clothing mixed throughout the men's racks. I went through the size 34 Shorts rack, and the amount of incorrectly labeled items was astounding. Lots of 38, 36, 30, etc sizes. The hangars are also not correctly matched to the sizes. Lastly, the dressing rooms are still closed. Every other store has dressing rooms opened, but at Burlington you have to buy it, take it home to try it on, and then return it if it doesn't fit. Me and my husband go in shopping almost everyday and there is this young African American male worker who is very unprofessional. While he is working he is pushing the cart unloading supplies and he cusses up a storm and talking about customers, he also likes to talk about his personal life. We also over heard him in the back room talking about customers super loud. He is a very unprofessional employee and his manager needs to keep an ear out to this employee. read more

My wife and I stopped in to pick up two shirts for our grandsons school pictures the next day, we found a couple we liked and got into a line of about 10 people in front of us and only one checker, Gina, who was doing the best she could and calling for help. Another checker, Lorraine, showed up to help while the line continued to grow. Both women called for more help repeatedly with no response from any other staff. We witnessed three individuals walk out, 2 with armloads of merchandise, without paying. (The third only stole a few bottles of cologne/perfume) Finally, as we reached the check stand, another young man began checking with a who cares attitude. Our time in line was 40 minutes! If it was not picture day the next day we would've left and gone somewhere else. We and others in the line were appalled by the service at this store and will never revisit it, it will likely soon be out of business with the way it is operated and losses occurring.
