I had also received some coupons in the mail and thought, "Why not?" I was able to find some good deals on Tommy jeans and some nice Ralph Lauren Polo shirts as well as some blouses for work. As I headed to the check out, I was already thinking, the coupons will probably not go through and I might have to make some of my purchases online. Macy's coupons are a hit or miss because they have so many exclusions and at some counters, a sales associate told me they make sure the coupons don't go trough because all their items are exclusions. As a result, I usually don't bother unless I happen to be there for another reason. I was pleasantly surprised this time when a sales associate named Yolanda Perez helped me figure out how to make the most of my coupons and it turned my good deals into some really great ones. I truly hope Macy's keeps hiring sales associates who are friendly and helpful like Yolanda. Having that help keeps me at the brick and mortar store instead of shopping online. I really want to support RGV business but if I can buy a $50 pair of shoes for $22 on Macy's online, how can I resist? I asked them to be shipped to the store for pick-up and they were ready within an hour. The young lady at the counter scanned my purchase code, asked for an ID to ensure it was me (the same ID I use when voting), and she handed me the boots. Easy peasy. The store is very nice and has a large selection of western and ranch wear for both men and women. There are cowboy hats galore, practical boots, work boots. Fancy boots, exotic leather boots, goin'-to-town boots, and honky-tonkin' boots, jeans, buckles, leather care products, etc. Everything was neat, orderly, and easy to find what you're looking for.
