Let me begin by saying: I have eaten gas-station sushi that was a Michelin experience compared to this. We walked in and were greeted with the enthusiasm of a DMV employee on hour 11 of their shift. The hostess looked at us like we had personally ruined her childhood. After a solid five minutes of eye contact and mutual confusion, she grunted and pointed at a table that I'm pretty sure was held together by hope and one rusty screw. The food: I ordered the "house special," which tasted like someone described what flavor should be, then forgot halfway through and gave up. The chicken was simultaneously burnt, cold, and somehow wet. Physics took one look and walked out. The service: Our server vanished like a Victorian spirit the moment we sat down. I'm convinced he joined witness protection. I saw him once more, briefly, like a cryptid sighting, only to have him drop my drink so hard it carbonated itself on impact. The bathroom: Look... I've been to music festivals. I've survived porta-potties at county fairs. I've seen stuff. But whatever was going on in that restroom? That was a crime scene. The toilet paper roll was sitting on the counter like it had escaped and was considering a new life in Peru. The ambiance: Lights flickering like we were dining inside a horror movie. Music alternating between elevator jazz and what I can only assume was a recording of someone microwaving aluminum foil. Final thoughts: By the time the check arrived, I honestly felt like I needed therapy, a tetanus shot, and maybe a priest. The highlight of my meal was leaving. Would not recommend. Would not return. Would not even drive by again in case the building recognizes me.

They are supporting rec users become MEDICAL, they will have access to OUR ALREADY LIMITED MED INVENTORY. MANY OTHER REASONS. It's being PROMOTED in the store when you walk in- One of the reasons the sign states compares MED taxes vs REC taxes. It was at 12:26 on 4/30- TODAY. Today a woman walked fast to get inside before me, I didn't care. She got in the REC line- She is NOT a medical patients. She is a recreational cannabis user not being used as medication your doctors want you to try or take. The guy was rude and not helpful at all about my capsule questions and was just rushing. As I walked away I saw the REC lady walk right up to him, the MEDICAL PATIENT said something about it, I did not hear what she said, but she said something. The REC lady said no I've been waiting, it was about 3 minutes. THE EMPLOYEE SAID- YEAH SHE'S BEEN WAITING LONGER. THAT'S NOT THE POINT OF A MEDICAL LINE OR MEDICAL CANNABIS. To SELL MORE, you're PROMOTING people WITHOUT THE HEALTH NEEDS FOR IT TO get a MEDICAL CARD for savings and to dip into your SMALL POT OF MED INVENTORY AS IS. I've since I received that email, switched to CURALEAF in NEW LENOX- They are VERY helpful, never rush, DO NOT treat MEDICAL patients differently, and many other things but I'm tiring of typing. **I've only. been there if I NEED a product they DON'T have. 2018-2026 I've used 3C and then RISE. I am super disappointed as a med patient- I jumped through hoops to get my medical card and my doctor and that process is very expensive, and obviously insurance does not cover a dime. Fingerprints, mini photo, background check ETC. I'll never return UNLESS I can't find a product I need ANYWHERE else. Rise Joliet is really getting bad. The Naperville location was no where near as bad as this location. Try again. But you did lose a patient TODAY that has supported RISE since 2018-2026. Good Luck!

I've went to other smoke shops & had the same products for cheaper so when I told the two employees that I was a new customer they matched the price I usually pay for my Vape cartridge since I was a new customer. I came back today to get another cartridge & there was a new employee who charged me $40.53 for the same cartridge that's suppose to be $29.99 when I came home I noticed that the cartridge was manufactured last year & it expired last week! I thankfully did not open the cartridge! I wasn't aware that carts can expire. I'm not sure if the one I purchased a week ago was expired. I'm not sure what side effects I could have from it. I then went back to the smoke shop & showed the employee the unopened cartridge was expired & he noticed majority on the shelf were so he had contacted someone via phone assuming a manager? I was honestly frustrated & looking for my money back, even though they have a final sale sign on the door because clearly it was not safe to smoke & I rather take my business elsewhere. I was advised that I could not return it & I would have to get a different flavor. I did not want any other flavor they had available.
