For what it is, BC is tasty. *A-hole Bay Area native alert*--ain't no (SF) Mission burrito style-anything, but it's good. Let's don't forget, too, that if items on menus here are labeled as 'spicy', then they actually might not be. So it was with my 'hot' salsa selection chosen for the beef burrito (no, puerco, BC? Porque?) Anywho, the grub I got was fine, indeed, and became much more flavorful with the ton of hot sauces I added to it at table. The best part of the whole affair was the Crew Republic Pale Ale to wash it all down with. Second best part was the black and white photo hanging on the wall of SF showing Coit Tower, the church in Wash. Square Park, and, of course, the GGB with obligatory fog blanket in the background. The service was friendly as well and the dude who took our order was patient with us first-timers as we figured out the card ordering system. PS: expect funky chicory and, perhaps, other bitter lettuce in your burrito should you choose the 'salad' option. Nice burrito place where you make your order on a card and then just give it to the cashier for simplicity. As always in Europe, guacamole is not obviously assumed and you have to pay an extra (EUR 1) for it. However, compared to other places I have been to, here guacamole is not too expensive, it is good and you get a decent amount of it; therefore, it is worth. I had a burrito bowl with beef (EUR 6.90) which was quite good. There wasn't too much meat though. I would give the place 3.5 stars but because of the awesome sauces on the tables I round it up to 4 (I regret not having taken the regular burrito with the tortilla to dip it into the sauces). read more

Californian here. My expectations were low, and I have only been here once, but this simply did not taste like Mexican food. I got the marinated Seitan burrito. It was too sweet. The rice inside was also undercooked. The service was Ok, though my order was fulfilled incorrectly. I hope Müncheners do not think this is true Mexican food. When in Munich... Eat burritos? Sure! Why not! It is good to have something a little different to balance out the many wonderful beer halls. Stopped in here after a day-long visit to the Deutsches Museum. Ordered a small burrito with pulled pork, guac, and "everything" from free topping. I really like how you order with a card... And the card has an "everything" option. It takes away from feeling a little weird listing all the additions on the menu. There is a super hot option, which I did not go for. I mention it because I would have liked options for various hotness, but I guess that is what the hot sauces on the tables are for. Burrito itself was very pleasant. The ingredients, and their flavors blended together nicely. While it would have been nice if there were some more distinct flavors... When you get a small with everything, that is to be expected. I do however have two gripes. First gripe is that the burrito could have been hotter. I don't mean this spiciness-wise, but more temperature wise. Second is that the amount of meat was so small, I don't know if meager is the appropriate word Even though it is small, I should be able to taste, or at least see meat... No? Yo soy Tico, is what was on the employee's hat when we ordered our food. Sure it was a cool hat, but what I really remember is the yummy burrito. I wouldn't call it a Mexican burrito (I'm spoiled living in San Diego, CA so close to Mexico), it was pretty generous with the rice. The little blurb next to the two star rating stays it all "Meh. I've experienced better", and I most definitely have (even here in Munich!). Although the burritos were discounted (because my friend and I were participating in the Bierinslen event), there definitely left something to be desired. My friend got a beef burrito (which I was immediately jealous of after she let me taste it), and I got a burrito bowl with chicken. My burrito bowl LOOKED like it was going to be delicious, but it ended up being extremely bland. The chicken just seemed as though there was a small amount (if any) of seasoning, the rice was bland, the large pieces of lettuce definitely did not add to the flavor, and unfortunately the gauc was bland too! The salsa that was put on the top of my bowl was basically like a weird Italian-style (strangely similar to marinara sauce) salsa. My friend checked-in to this place on yelp and was able to get free chips and salsa which was nice. She opted for the pico de gallo salsa, which also weirdly seemed more Italian than anything (waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much oregano in the salsa). Anyway, I can attest that (unfortunately) this place definitely leaves some things to be desired (especially if your friend orders something that makes you immediately regret your choice of food). My suggestion? Skip the bowl, skip the chicken, get a beef burrito - but don't expect it to be amazing. read more

Cute little burrito place with a great vibe. You go in and fill out your order on a card, bring it to the till and have everything served up by a few friendly staff members who obviously have put a lot of love into the place. I had the beef burrito bowl - it was pretty good, but the meat could use a bit more flavour and seasoning, and a spicier option (spicy wasn't so spicy). Good drinks, loved the sodas (try the melon!) fresh ingredients, good guac. would like to see brown rice or other bean options, i.e. like chipotle. Loved the ambiance - from the high wooden tables and san francisco motifs, to the desk lamps hanging upside down from the ceiling. i really liked the guy who was running it - was generous with the cool little free stickers - and paid a lot of attention to our group even though the place was packed. One of my friends checked in on yelp and a got a free order of chips and salsa, which was cool. Seats maybe 15, with people passing in and out for take-out or eating at the counters. Keep that in mind if you're looking for a place to sit down and have a bigger group. read more

One of the better burrito places in the city. The staff is probably one of the friendliest that I've experienced here, smiling from the get-go and happy to take our orders. The ordering is hassle-free: just take a card, tick off what you want, and give it to the staff. We got our food for take-out and was out of the place within 5 minutes after ordering. We tried their beef and veggie burrito bowls with all the toppings with guacamole (for 1€ extra per order). The portions were big enough, and flavors were decent (I still miss my burritos back home though...). A bonus for Yelpers (or a reason to join Yelp!): check-in on the Yelp app gets a free bag of tortilla chips and salsa (choice of classic salsa, chili salsa, and sour cream). read more

Yesssss! We live in the neighborhood and I'm so happy to find tasty, fresh, flavorful burritos! The guacamole was fresh, ground beef and chicken both good choices for proteins (didn't try the pork.) They even have a frequent visitor punch card! Buy 9, get one free! Score! Ordering was so easy! It was so nice that they had an English version! The only thing that wasn't perfect was the lettuce. It had the crunchy stem part on many pieces, which I just picked out. We'll definitely be going back! read more

Best Burrito place I've ever been to in Germany. Ever since I've been to Chipotle in the US, I've been desperately trying to find a place in Germany that's similar. Unfortunately every place I've tried so far didn't even come close. This place is pretty good I have to say. The service deserves 5 stars for sure! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars in total is because the chips aren't that great and I wish there were Steak and Barbacoa options available for your burrito. We were at the end of a multi-week trip and were craving a little slice of home and found this place. It's basically a European style Chipotle (you can create your own burrito). Found this place after Visiting the Deutsche Museum. It is about a 5 minute walk away. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was amazing with gorgeous portions and they use fresh ingredients. A great place to grab a meal after visiting the deutsche museum. Ordered delivery from them and the food arrived completely cold and over half an hour late. This wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the fact that they are literally 5 minutes away from me. We woke up hungry and decided to yelp to find a decent place to eat and found this place not too far from the hotel we were staying at, my husband who loves mexican food was really excited to have something taste like home(southern California) in Munich. we drove there and walked into this cozy place and the staff was very helpful, we ordered two burritos. The burritos weren't the best we've had but it definitely satisfied our cravings for a burrito. If i were to give chipotle a 10,this would be a 5.
