A super place, good food and fantastic nice views over the wine areas. Food is traditional Pfalz, a bit heavy but very good made with local and seasonal ingredients. Be aware on weekends it might be packed for lunch and afternoon stops. But as Tradition are here place is made for all guests. Don't miss their own selection of wines and maybe do a wine test, it comes with smaller glasses and som small food to it. Small glass of wine is (0.25l) 4€, hey this is the Pfalz :-) Zum whol. Beautiful location. Ample car parking spaces. Outdoor tables limited and advance booking recommended. Large panoramic windows inside with view to vineyards around. Woodburning stove in winter. Very attentive and friendly staff. Extensive wine list with very competitive prices. Very tasty selection of local food. Wonderful deserts. Highly recommended. Only taking EC cards for payment. read more

Nach den vielen positiven Kommentaren sind wir gestern auch mal hingefahren. Leider wurden wir aber gleich von einem ziemlich arroganten Kellner begrüsst. Hatte schon Tage vorher extra einen schönen Tisch für acht Personen bestellt, da wir einen runden Geburtstag zu feiern hatten. Der Platz war aber sehr eng und Flexibilität und Freundlichkeit wohl für den Kellner ein Fremdwort. Da es Sonntagnachmittag und schönes Wetter war, herrschte sehr viel Betrieb; hatte schon etwas Massenabfertigungs-Touch. Essen war allerdings lecker und ging auch schnell. Die Umgebung und der Teich sind zwar wunderschön aber zum angepriesenen Paradies fehlt leider noch was. read more

Sehr schönes Ambiente und tolle erholsame Lage mit Sitzplätzen am See .Unsere Geburtstagsgesellschaft ( 30 Personen ) waren sehr zufrieden .Das Essen war rundherum sehr geschmackvoll ..... Dosenpilze habe ich ( wie in einer Kritik gelesen ) in der Pilzsoße NICHT gefunden !!! Aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung . Alles rundherum super zufriedenstellend !!! Schönes Ambiente leider mit enttäuschendem Essen. Preisleitung ist nicht stimmig mit dem was uns serviert wurde. 2 Kartoffelknödel mit Pilzen aus der Dose für einen stolzen Preis von 10.-Euro, leider auch noch sehr fad im Geschmack. Für diesen Preis kann man zumindestens frische Pilze verlangen. read more

Das Motto heisst "Burrweiler Mühle - ein Stück vom Paradies". Wir kommen seit 25 Jahren hierher, und wir wissen warum. Auch das vom Bruder des Wirtes betriebene Weingut ist ein Geheimtipp, dessen Erzeugnisse man zum Essen schon mal antesten und später nebenan noch systematisch verkosten kann. read more
