It's like our equivalent to shoe shopping. Walking through this store, I find it hard to see its charm. The products are simplistically laid out, there's no bells and whistles, everything seems so straight forward... Oh wait! This is the charm! The difference is, it is not directed at a shopper like me, it's directed to the practical and handy man. This is exactly the reason men love shopping here. Everything is easily laid out and it is easy to navigate around the store. The customer service is a little different in here. As it is predominately male staff, I've observed a difference in their service. There's no awkward moments, its just a straight out, "Hey, did you need a hand with anything?". Simple, direct and straight to the point. No time for chit chat, no time to browse for hours. This is how men shop and I've got to say, I see its benefits. The staff are here are professional and easy going. It's actually much more relaxing to shop in here than it is in a some boutiques.

I am happy to say that Aussie Auto on Pickering Street in Alderley is definitely one you can trust, just good old fashioned honest and reliable service. The team here are very pleasant and really flexible! I don't know how many times I have booked my car in for a service and then had to cancel/reschedule at the last minute. I have a Rav 4 and a standard service for me usually costs around $140 and includes a full inspection of the vehicle, a minor detail, engine de-grease and car wash! The little extra niceties make all the difference.

They do good, well priced mechanic work, but they also sell car parts at very cheap prices (cheaper if you're trade). Excellent customer service and great value!…read more Took my 3rd car into Memmotts for a RWC, new battery and general checkup. The mechanic Aaron remembered our phone conversation from days earlier, called me to provide updates during the day, when it would be ready, etc. The cost was very reasonable for the work done, and was told what work would be needed soon and a time/cost estimate for each. I'll now be a regular customer and also recommending them to everyone.

The are priced well and you can drop of your car there in the morning and pick up at the end of the day and they are also open on Saturdays. Would highly recommend KTAS!

This particular store is open weekends (not all are), which is great for the enthusiast working on their car, or just the person saving a bit of cash doing their own service. I recommend knowing what you want before coming in (product codes and the like), but even if you don't, the staff are happy to look it all up for you. Every staff member here has been super friendly and helpful. I went in today because I saw they had 35% off the oil I was after. While grabbing various filters also needed, the man helping me let me know the Repco brand price as well as other options, so wasn't trying to upsell the most expensive brand or even the company brand. If you're a member of RACQ you can expect a 10% discount as well, but keep an eye out. A few weeks ago it was a 30% discount, and it was 20% today. I'll definitely be back here next time I need something for my car.
