It really is a great school; with an excellent 11plus pass rate and a real sense of community that you don't get in huge schools. There were about 30 people in my school year, and less in the one below me. This was great, not only did it mean that all the pupils knew each other really well, but also that all pupils got the time and education the deserved from the fantastic team of teachers that they have here. It's a Christian School and has hymns and assembly every morning, it follows national Key stage one curriculum, has a great behaviors and discipline policy and some fantastic teachers! Out of 30 people in my year I'm sure over 20 passed their eleven plus, with four or five passing harder exams for entry into private schools! I would fully recommend sending your children here if you are living or have recently moved to the area!

The Aquinas Building is nearby and offers welfare advice for students and is the place where assignments must be handed in and the dreaded fees sorted out! Children are taught in groups of 2 or 3 at similar ability levels. The variety of techniques used to teach make the lessons very enjoyable and at times parental participation is encouraged it is not required although the children don't always let you get away with standing watching when you could be running around pretending to be an escaped cow which needs rounding up. You have been warned! During school holidays a weekly Pony Fun Day is run from 9am until 5pm whcih enables children to spend a fully supervised day learning all about horse as well as mucking out, tacking up and participating in races, treasure hunts and lots lots more.
