Amazing food in an unassuming location! From the murals on the wall to the cute menu comics, this place is severely legit. The food is incredible and the service is super fast. Great parking availability too! Tried the bushido black Ramen, the fried chicken and the gyoza...all were excellent! Will definitely be returning!
Just WOW! I don't give many 5 star reviews, but this was earned! Small unassuming restaurant with limited seating, so get there early or put in a to-go order! We ordered a variety of appetizers and two mains. Beautiful presentation and stellar flavors! Also, generous portions. The pork gyoza was superb, I'm still thinking about that crust! Chefs ! Our waiter was efficient and patient with first timers. The menu literally has a cartoon explaining anything you might need to know.
The food was really flavorful and filling. The delivery was quick through DoorDash to my hotel. Since I did not go in store, I cannot speak to the ambiance. The lychee tea was fruity and refreshing but I was disappointed that it came with no lychee pieces nor ice as the menu stated. I ordered an onigiri that was out of stock, but I fortunately got a refund. I would recommend this place if you are in the area.
This is such a cute little ramen shop! There is a decent amount of parking near the store, but I could see it being hard to find a spot when it is really busy. We were greeted a few minutes after we walked in and were shown to a table. The inside is so much fun and there are figures all around the store that you can even purchase if you would like. It is a lively ambiance and almost every table and spot was filled while we were there. Service was a bit slow, although it seems like there is only one waitress for the whole restaurant, so just be prepared. It also took a fair amount of time for our food and drinks to come out. The ramen actually beat my drink out, and even the ramen took a decent amount of time. Again not the end of the world as we enjoyed chatting and enjoying the restaurant, just a bit surprised as most ramen restaurants that I have been to usually have the food out pretty quickly. Everything was tasty! It wasn't the most flavorful tonkotsu ramen I have ever had, but I definitely enjoyed it. The matcha was also good. Definitely on the sweet and more milky side, but I would still get it again. Cute little shop that provided a nice, cozy meal on a chilly day!
Great ramen place in the area! Very cozy and well decorated. Staff are all super friendly and pretty on top of everything. A lot of their items on the menu were delicious, recommend the Pepper chicken! Super flavorful! Bushido buns were good but they were huge! Thought they'd be smaller but it's enough to be your meal. Tried the bushido black ramen, great flavor especially with the black garlic oil! Their ramen does have a lot of noodles! Would prefer more broth than noodles but overall it was super good especially for the cold weather.
Shamelessly back again, but this time I brough the entire clan. As expected, everyone loved their ramen. Even the kiddos commented on how much better this place was compared to the last place we went. They even had a yummy blueberry tea they were promoting so we got a few cups of it. That was very refreshing! This time I tried their bushido bao, and it got weird. But in the best way. Their meat they used was beautifully crispy, dipped in this tangy sauce. This sauce made me double take, as it brought me to a childhood memory. I was the weird person who sniffed their food.. because I couldnt believe it. The bread? Fluffy white as it should be. Combined, perfection. The owner came around and can be seen chatting it up with the peeps in the store. You can tell he was proud of this rounds of improvement to this dish. I dont blame him. My only regret was that there was no more room in my stomach to fit it at that time. As a Chinese NYC native transplanted to Ohio... this was big for me on the inside. Sooooo...... yes. Come. Eat. Be absolutely satisfied! I cant wait to see more of his food exploration!
Went here for dinner and it was perfect for winter time! The boa bun was delicious! Definitely recommend starting with one! The soup was good (little salty for my liking) but still good! I would come back to try a different soup! Staff were attentive, and very friendly. The restaurant itself was clean, they had anime show playing in the background and games available to play with friends. Great place to hang out!
If you are interested Dayton-go here for a great Japanese food. Great interior decorations. The staff were very nice and service was good(a tad bit slow). But the food is amazing. One of the best restaurants I have eaten recently. Get their Bao- crunch on the outside and juicy on the inside. I tried the Karage Curry(I have eaten a lot of curries), the flavors are amazing and the crunchy chicken was superb. Haven't tried their Ramen yet, but that's for my next visit. Definitely go here if you are looking for Japanese food. Highly recommend.
Loved it, my sister and I stopped by and the food was delicious! I ordered the creamy chicken ramen, I also ordered a kids ramen for my 5 yr old and usually a picky eater, he loved it! Service was warm, fast and welcoming even though there was only one server ! Loved the ambiance of the place too. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back even though I live closer to Cincinnati!!
Nice ramen spot in the area! There's plenty of parking in the front, side and even back. I was worried about the AC comments but it was working. The service was great, waitress was friendly and attentive to my water. Due to the heat I got a complimentary banana strawberry green tea which was refreshing! I ordered the black garlic ramen. It was good, the thin ramen noodles were a little soft for me but the broth was good. The soy egg was delicious and the chasu slice was big. Serving size was good. I also had the takoyaki, outside was super crunchy and inside was very soft and not doughy. I enjoyed my meal. Would recommend, satisfied my craving.
We tried Bushido Ramen today. They opened last month and it has been pretty busy. So we were waiting for it to settle down a little. I ordered "Bushido Black." Soup temperature was good. It must be very hot. this is important! A lot of Ramen shops in US serve at too low of a temperature. But it was hot and the toppings were very good. Another good thing, there was salt, pepper and Japanese chili powder on the table. You usually don't get pepper on the table here but in Japan, all ramen shops put pepper on the tables. Even though it was 89 degrees outside and their AC was not working it was still a good meal. We will go again went they have the AC fixed or it is cooler outside.

Amazing ambiance, the art on the walls is great, good music and lots of anime themes. The entryway has some nice Japanese treats like poki, and all sorts of Japanese beverages. The service is prompt and polite and the food.... INCREDIBLE. We had the bushido black, the gyoza, and the chicken karage. They didn't miss a single one. You need to add Bushido Ramen on your list of spots to try next; it's delicious! Came here on a chilly day and it was the perfect thing to warm up with! The staff are all so welcoming and the atmosphere here is fun & authentic! Staring with the Bushido buns is a must!! The buns are fluffy & tasty, & the crispy pork with the Bushido sauce is delicious! The gyoza were awesome & both the teas were extra refreshing; I am a big fan of the lychee flavor! Both the ramens are packed with flavor and the portions are massive! No question, this is the best ramen spot in the Dayton area I've been to, I highly recommend it! read more

Saw it on a drive by enroute to a customer meeting and had to give it a try. Fast fresh and friendly Tonkasti Ramen and Calamari on the table in 5min. Yum - will be back. read more

If you are interested Dayton-go here for a great Japanese food. Great interior decorations. The staff were very nice and service was good(a tad bit slow). But the food is amazing. One of the best restaurants I have eaten recently. Get their Bao- crunch on the outside and juicy on the inside. Bushido Ramen - Kettering, OH First time checking out Bushido Ramen and it did not disappoint! I tried the Bushido Red first--packed with bold flavor and a nice spicy kick. Came back for round two and ordered the Spicy Miso, the next day and wow... it's rich, savory, and full of depth. Definitely a new favorite spot. The vibe inside is just as awesome as the food--anime fans, you're gonna love it here! The walls and ceiling are decked out with action figures and anime decor from all your favorites like One Piece, My Hero Academia, and more. It's like stepping into a ramen shop straight out of a manga panel. Great food, cool atmosphere, and friendly staff. I went to the restaurant a week ago and i ordered the creamy chicken ramen. The broth lost some of its richness, the chicken was not as seasoned, and overall it wasn't as good as the first time. I'm hoping this was just a one off occurrence. read more

I ordered takeout for dinner from here while in the area for work on a weekday. The interior is anime themed and nicely decorated! I didn't stay inside long so I didn't really see the whole place. I ordered the black garlic ramen with chashu and extra chashu ($5). It tasted better than how it looks in the picture lol. The soy egg was a little bland, but cooked well, and I wish it came with 2 halves not just 1, otherwise I might have paid extra for more egg. I liked the choice of toppings (mushrooms, corn, bamboo shoots, green onions). The amount of noodles was plenty, but even though I picked it up freshly hot, the noodles were all stuck together and didn't separately nicely even after they were put in the hot broth. The chashu looked like it was going to be really disappointing based on the pale color, but the flavor was actually a solid 3.5 or 4/5. The broth also had pretty good depth. My takeout was ready on time which I always appreciate! I saved this place for reference if I'm ever back in the area again. read more

We ordered the calamari which came with a dip of kewpie mayo and spicy mayo, bushido pork buns, spicy edamame beans, tonkatsu ramen, one milk tea with popping boba and one fruit tea with popping boba. Every single thing was delicious, but the bushido pork buns were my favorite! The restaurant was clean and had lots of anime figurines around as decor. The staff was very friendly and chatted with my kid about favorite kpop music. They have some refrigerators toward the front with unique beverages and snacks (wasabi peas, Pocky, etc). I seriously cannot wait to go back. Those pork buns are addicting. read more

We enjoyed the spice and flavor of the Bushido Red and Spicy Miso ramen dishes. Some of the best ramen we have had, loved the thin noodles. For our appetizer, we had the Takoyaki, which also had excellent flavor. The staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommended and we look forward to returning. read more

Tiny portion of protein, which was tough as well. Not cheap, $15 before tip. Nothing came with it. No soup, no salad, water to drink. My first time here. Something drastic would have to change before I would return. read more

Two visits and both times enjoyed the food. Warning that people have heard about this hidden gem so it was packed both visits and not much space for waiting. We've tried both "chef recommended" ramen bowls and the Vegan miso, black garlic oil is the standout. Also the chicken karage and pepper chicken are a must! The staff are extremely attentive (water is always filled) and the place definitely has a vibe... there's a lot going on. read more

Bushido Ramen is FANTASTIC!! Every single thing I've ever ordered was absolutely omg delicious my all time favorites are the gyōza and Bushido buns, but the Bushido black ramen bowl is a must try too! They also have delicious pork or chicken curry, fried tofu and amazing rice bowls which are super cheap and filling! Literally every single thing on their menu is excellent They also have an awesome selection of Japanese drinks, candies and snacks, as well as fun anime merchandise and figures for sale too! The staff are all extremely kind and welcoming, every single time we've been in there (including being extra nice to my baby ). This place is just 10/10 and I can't possibly recommend them enough. read more
