They pulled the growth up from the roots (not just cut it back), layed landscape fabric and then put down mulch. It now looks spectacular- I was thrilled! They also restacked the stone wall were it had collapsed over the years. I was also very impressed with how prompt, polite and especially how hard working they were. They also cleaned up my front garden, which included pulling weeds, pruned my hydrangeas, edging and then topped with mulch- now looks beautiful! I would without question recommend RPS Landscaping if you're looking to have some work done! I'm a new customer and plan on using RPS for all my future projects.

On May 9, 2023, when JRD cut my neighbor's tree, they neglectedly dropped the branches of the trees onto my yard, onto my lilac and hydrangeas. When I first saw that happened, I came talk to the team for them to be mindful that I had several plants in that area and please do not drop broken trees on top of my plants. Noted I was not notified in advance this was happening nor there was my permission at all for all of this to happen on my property. As a result, several of my hydrangeas were broken to over half of their size, and same as the lilac. It is now 1/3 of the size of its twin sister on the other side of my house. I am now questioning my rights on my possessions located inside my own property! I contacted the owner right then and he said would have my plants replaced. Today, over a month after I contacted him, I never had any plant replaced and he did not respond after several follow up.

Excellent work! My…read morefamily installed solar panels 2 years ago on our south facing roof. The solar company used a subcontractor from New Bedford. Within a year I found a leak in the brand new roof from the solar panel installation. I contacted the solar company and and were "unable to locate" the subcontractor that they had originally used for the negligent installation. I called several local roofing companies to make repairs ...(and by several I mean 6). Not only is Skip, the owner Cape Cod Roofing, the ONLY contractor to get back to me, but he spoke to me at length to ascertain the exact nature of the problem. He made me realize it wasn't uncommon for leaks to occur from solar panel installation. In essence, he calmed my nerves He arrived at the house giving us about a week notice so we could meet him there. He used my input to figure out exactly where the leak was, as well as other potential problems with initial installation. He found several areas of concern including poorly secured brackets and broken roofing shingles...(exactly where the leak was occurring). Skip took pictures throughout the process so I could have the necessary documentation to file the claim with the solar company. He sealed the roof, made the necessary repairs...and the GREAT news: its been torrential rain for the past 24 hours....and there are NO LEAKS! Skip and his worker were very professional and easy to work with I'm very happy with the repair I would use them again I have already given 2 neighbors a heads up about this good local company

We thought perhaps there had been a family emergency and we left messages that were supportive. We have the phone number on the business card and his cell. His voice mail on each number is now full, I have texted him and still no response. We were at the time moving in 10 days! Our concern has turned frustration. Because we were supposed to leave this week, but because of our inability to wait we are going another route! We wish Tom and his family well, if indeed there had been an emergency.
