Sunlight Air is a pretty new domestic airline. They described it as 'boutique' but not sure what a "boutique" airline is. Currently they have a very small fleet of 3 and just in operation 4-1/2 years ago (2019). Our airline ticket was, get this, whoa, wow... handwritten! I was wondering why it was taking so long behind the counter. We boarded the plane from back to front. Our travel experience was seamless and we were given banana chips for snacks... mmm, never had it in roasted garlic flavor before. Travel time back to Manila was a little over an hour. The van that we rode in was roomy. The driver was apparently used to the winding road and quickly got us to our destination. If you you have a problem with motion sickness, I suggest you take the appropriate meds before you hop on any transportation going to Coron Town. We got to the hotel and the staff were warm and welcoming. POSITIVES - Strong aircon AND fan in the room - Showers with HOT water - drying rack for laundry out on the balcony - Complimentary, filling Filipino Silog (meat, egg and rice) breakfast which includes coffee/tea/milo. - Nice view deck on the forth floor - Convenience store on the first floor thats open 24/7 - Free WiFi - Friendly, helpful staff NEGATIVES - Tiny room and bathroom - the walls were dusty near the ceiling, guess their cleaning staff are of short stature and forget to look up. Outta sight, outta mind it seemed. - Not much of a view from the small balcony. - Thin linens with lumpy pillows - No toiletries except for bar soap - If I wasn't staying at the hotel, I wouldn't eat at their restaurant. And so we decided on a long weekend stay at the Two Seasons Coron Island Resort, 3 nights stay. The Island resort is separate from the Two Seasons main land resort. You get picked up from the mainland resort by boat like a jeep boat. It's about a 45 minute boat ride from mainland to the island resort. It was a lot of fun for the kids . They also keep your luggage dry and everyone safe with lifevests. The hotel helps with all of the logistics btw from airport pickup to the resort which makes is super stress free and convenient esp for people not speaking the native language. This place is amazing. Service and staff are super attentive, helpful and friendly. Seriously the best I've ever experienced. And again they all speak very good English which helps for non native/ Tagalog language speakers like myself. But luckily we also had our parents help with communication as well. The resort itself is so beautiful. Clear ocean blue water. Fish and coral greet you as walk up to the reception desk from the pier. Our hotel room was huge. My husband and baby and I shared a double room with my parents, two queen sized beds good for 4 people. Some of the notable room amenities included Air conditioning , personal balcony, Nespresso machine , lockbox , fancy L'occitane shampoo/conditioner/shower gel, and the highlight for me was the hot water and cold water dispenser which came in handy for making milk bottles in an instant for my baby- it was literally a life saver. Every morning there is a breakfast buffet included with your stay. Lunches and dinners are not. I highly recommend having a guided tour offered by their activities coordinator. We did a full day , 7-8 hours tour of island hopping and we saw all the notable can't miss sites of coron bay. We saw beautiful lagoons and coral reefs, there are some shipwreck diving sites as well. Again our tour guides we're phenomenal, special shout out to Jay R and Jake, they made sure our family was safe and were our very own personal videographer/ photographers and really helped capture some awesome shots. If you're not leaving the island, the sunset beach was also amazing. You can still see some coral and wildlife off the shore and lots of swim / water activities like beach volleyball, paddle boarding , snorkeling to do. The restaurant beach/pool bar will bring your food to you on the beach front while you enjoy the sun. Another notable convenience offered by the resort is a golf cart to drive you around the resort. There is a pretty steep but short hill you might need to walk up to to get to your room which is doable for most mobile people. But my father uses a walking cane and this really helped him so much with getting around back and forth the resort very easily without tiring. But also when it rains the golf cart has a cover to keep you dry when there's an unexpected thunderstorm. There was also a kids club/kids play room I think called "Under the Sea" we haven't been able to try unfortunately because we just had so much fun playing on the water, making sand castles, and in the pool and slide area but it was a nice surprise to see how they cater to the youngest of guests as well. This was definitely a family vacation we will all never forget. And Two Seasons Island resort really made us feel spoiled and taken cared for. I liked the fact that it was tucked away a bit, making it very peaceful and quiet. The hotel offers scooters for rent, which we did one day. The also were able to recommend a private boat operator, which turned out to be the highlight of our vacation. We ended up booking the private boat two times during our trip. The complimentary breakfast was exceptional. The variety of food was more than my eyes or stomach could take! They had everything from made to order omelettes and pancake, selection of fresh fruits to a variety of traditional Filipino dishes.

We did the discovery dive and had a blast. All the dive masters were so friendly and informative. Our dive instructor, Kuya Randy is an expert and prepped us so well before we did our first dive. We felt super safe during the training and had fun on the 2 dives they took us. I would highly recommend this scuba dive shop. We will definitely come back!

Lodging + Breakfast for each night was 2,250PHP (~$42 USD/night). We paid for our trip to Coron in advance, which included roundtrip transportation from Francisco B. Reyes Airport (USU), formerly known as Busuanga Airport, breakfast each morning, and daily tours. Our Family Triple room was on the 2nd floor and consisted of 1-full sized bed, 1-twin sized bed, and 1-futon. The bathroom had a shower with an electric water heater, bucket + tabo (traditional Filipino bathing tools), and the toilet included a handheld bidet spray (good for hygiene and cleaning the floor). Water will end up close to the door, so be sure and keep the floor mat closeby and leave the door open to air it out, especially when you're out exploring for the day. By 5am, the roosters will be sure to wake you up. By 8pm, you'll be able to hear neighbors on their mics enjoying dining karaoke from their couches. Need coffee or water? A hot/cold water dispenser is available on each floor complete with glasses, mugs and instant coffee packets. Be sure and check out the top deck on the 4th floor! Dianna's Inn is about a ~5 minute walk from the main road where everything else happens: dining, shopping, bar hopping, karaoke, salons, church, and more! If you're not so much into walking, you can easily talk to the front desk to let them know where you'd like to go and they will coordinate a tricycle for you. Customer service was so kind and friendly. Someone was always available for all of our inquiries. If needed, there were a few Sari-Sari stores for snacks and toiletries.

Basically didn't try to fix anything! Got a manager on the phone because there was no manager there . Manager promised to fix the problem the very next day. After that phone call ended spoke with the front desk agent again, and they said they were surprised at the manager, guaranteed the problem to be fixed because there was no room for us to move to the very next day ! So I guess the managers a bullshitter! I would give this hotel a -10 stars but at this website it's not allowed, so all I can give it is a one star!
