The smaller airport so far for me to go through. Most planes coming though are small propelled planes. I only say Cebu, PAL and Skyjet that goes through here. To exit, there is a 100 php exit/departure fee. Make sure to have pesos with you! The airport needs upgrades especially the driveways but according to them, it has to be a request before election time to request it to be fixed. There is no AC but the fans working are so strong. It helped with the heat. The departure waiting area was small and only had a small souvenir and snack shop. Hopefully, your flights won't be delayed. The power even went out here a few time for a bit. The folks here don't smile either and are so grouchy. My dad lost his sunglass piece on the conveyer belt and they were not helpful - What so ever! At least, they provide an umbrella for each person when it's rains going to the plane. Make sure to listen to the announcements as their speakers are terrible for understanding what they say!! This was not my favorite part of my trip to/from Coron. [127/100]
Welcome to Coron! USU (Francisco B. Reyes) CORON PALAWAN Philippines Francisco B. Reyes Airport ( or more commonly known as Busuanga Airport) is a small domestic airport in Coron, Palawan. It only has one terminal and the airport isn't open 24 hours. No WiFi. The business hours are 6:00a to arrival of last flight. Flight CEB to USU: We arrived in Coron around 8:45a. Immediately after deplaning we made our way inside the single terminal. No need to walk far for our luggages because as soon as we entered the building the baggage claim is to the left. We exited the terminal to find our driver waiting to pick us up and drop us off to our hotel. Flight USU to MNL: We had another early flight at 7:10a but for some reason my family wanted to be at the airport early because we still had to check-in in person. We arrived around 5:00a but the airport wasn't operational yet until 6:00a. The terminal was open but we were told to wait in a waiting room. Looks like we weren't the only early birds, though. Small airport in Palawan that gets the job done! Useful for traveling to nearby Coron resorts. Security was fast. All the gates are in one room. There are a few snack shops, souvenir shops and a coffee shop. Bathrooms are clean. Being on a tropical island, it's hot. There's no noticeable air conditioning but some large, powerful fans that help to keep the temps bearable. read more

Pretty small airport. We had to fly in and out of Busuanga on our vacation to Palawan. There's a few food stands to grab snacks and coffee and I think there's at least one shop to buy last minute souvenirs. The seating area get fulls pretty quick. Not sure if they have electric outlets available for use so make sure to bring your own portable battery pack to charge your phone. read more

As our vacation comes to a close here in Busuanga Island. You are the last thing that we encounter before we leave. Everybody who comes here begins and ends with you. That's of course if they came here through air and leaving through air. The airport is a small operation, literally only 2 gates and everything is manual. No revolving baggage claim, no automated check in, no jet bridges,,, none of that. Then again,,, people don't come to Busuanga/Coron to bathe in technological advancement. This is the first ever reminder that you've definitely come here to unplug and get away from it all. The airplane lands on a short runway, hence the immediate rough landing and the extra super hard braking and thrusters. At the end of the runway, the plane turns around, makes its way to the passenger embarking and disembarking area. Opens the front left side door, you walk down the steps and immediately walk yourself to the arrival area. That's where then airline ground personnel takes your baggage from the airplane to the baggage claim. Everything entirely by hand, no help from any machineries whatsoever. Same exact thing goes for outgoing passengers. The whole entire operation is impressive, especially the fact that they all do it entirely with minimal tech. The airport is clean, its orderly and the staff is extremely friendly. There is a snack shop right after security, in case you get thirsty or hungry. A gift shop for that last minute shopping, especially if you've forgotten to lurchase yourself an "I Love Coron" shirt. It's quite simple, but still quite ample. Thank you so much Busuanga Airport for the lovely experience. You are truly an awesome place to fly in and out of. Bye Busuanga airport, I'll see you again next time. read more

VERY small airport. Only has two gates for departures. One long table to pick up your luggage for arrivals which is manual, no belt. Two places to buy food and drinks. Small souvenir shop to buy jewelry and shirts. Limited seating. No aircon, only two big fans so this place is hot!!! read more
