LOVE that they have crayons and coloring books for kids

Delicious, filling, authentic and just all around a great spot for bbq if you're in the area, the brisket was smokey and flavorful, the sides were really good too, they use red potatoes for their potato salad, there are lots of options for meats, sides and even bread! Their collards are juicy, not too salty and definitely not bland. Service was great! Informative and kind staff, restaurant is clean too. Definitely recommend!

Trust me - this is the best pulled pork and brisket I've had. I've been to +30 bbq joints across the South and Texas, and this place takes the cake. The brisket is lean and flavorful, and the pulled pork is juicy and seasoned well. I like to dip in the Alabama white and spicy bbq sauces. The beans also have big chunks of brisket in them. Pro tip: skip the Mac and cheese, it's not worth it.

    Peanut Butter Pie

Chicken was pretty good. I've had their brisket and pork before and was not really that impressed. The chicken has been by far my favorite.love their homemade pickles and sauces. We went late in the day so they were out of a lot and the peanut butter pie was frozen still when I ate it. It still wasn't that bad.

Brisket, ribs, wings, leg quarter, potato salad and Mac and cheese

The ribs needed no sauce. Neither did the brisket. Every single thing I ate was on point! These folks know how to season and cook. Period. Not to mention they are so friendly and the bbq smell when you walk in is amazing! Can't say enough good stuff.

We were just staying one night Opelika on the way home. Looked up this place based on yelp reviews. It was a good find. The brisket was great.we tried with sweet bbq sauce. The sweet flavor really enhance the brisket tenderness. The beans are great as well with pieces of meat to add on the texture. Also finding the small brisket sandwich do pack in a large portion of meat. Well worth the price. The core bread was a bit dry though. The pulled pork was also a bit on the dry side. But add more bbq sauce saves it.

This is a whole slab from Sam's for $12 bucks , 13 ribs in total

The place was clean , the quality of the ribs for the price could of been better , service was horrible, the employee didn't know what a slab of ribs was , so 8 ribs for over $34.00 and yes they asked what type of BBQ sauce, but ended up with none in the bag.

Whenever I am in a new town, especially in the South, I always stop at a barbecue joint. Using Yelp I found the highest rated and closest. The two guys running the place were very nice. They offered me the rib bits at no cost. I insisted on paying and they threw in an extra piece of chicken. The pulled pork and meat selections were great! The beans and Brunswick stew were tasty accompaniments to the meal. Homemade pickles? Awesome! The cornbread muffin was slightly overcooked and dry. I rounded out the meal with a slice of almond chocolate pie. It was rich and delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone.

I loved that it wasn't overly sweet, too. Plain croissant was good. However, it still did not make it to my top croissant spots in the US. The dough was thick, dense, and pretty chewy. The taste was very good, but it wasn't flaky and light like a true croissant. They did not have sourdough available that day, and we came too early for sandwiches, so I will have to stop by again in the near future! Staff is super friendly, prices are similar to big city prices ($5 for a plain croissant, $7.50 for an almond croissant), and the sidewalk seating is lovely.
