Working with this law team was equally as bad as dealing with my Ex. they take your money, Elyse will never speak up or talk back to your emails. My family spent over $30,000 in three months, and I got nowhere. The only advancement I had with the judge was once I fired Butler law and went in on my own. I feel Robbed by this "business". Think, "scummy, crime, steal your money lawyers" This is Them! I unfortunately found them. The documents and emails from Sara Doroaorth could have easily been quick written by Chat GPTin seconds, which were substituted for simple call-backs, just to charge more and more money. Fine....if you're winning. But I got my ass handed to me over and over in court with a "lawyer helping women" PUH-lease. My experience was anything but that in the end. The quality was just bad from this law firm. Absolutely no wins in seemingly an easy case, and lost custody of my daughter for 2 years after spending thousands of dollars to have them help me. Judge Leah Hausch did not like this law team, it was obvious. This law firm will hurt you more, in a sensitive situation, and they won't respond. And their responses and "defense" are just Bad. Judge clearly hated them, and gave my lawyer really no time at all. This is one of those instances where if I could give a Zero or negative stars, I would. And to be honest, the person that really upset me the most is Elise Butler, because when I reached out to her about my case, and my lawyer, as the owner of the law firm, I never got a response from her. I honestly don't even know if she exists. She never spoke back, never wrote me back. I think they were embarrassed by how bad they got their ass handed to them in court with my case, that should've been so easy. read more

For the last 17 years, I have been the voice for the voiceless of my minor daughter and now she is 17 years old. I spent all my savings and most of my pension to obtain 5 years restraining order to protect my daughter and myself against a barbaric man who is very abusive on all levels. In 2022, he requested the court to modify child support payments by refusing to pay by claiming disability on why he cannot pay while owning assets in the millions. AGAIN, I knew I have to stand up and be the voice for my daughter until she is 18 years old. I was devastated not knowing where I can find the fund to hire a new and very experienced law firm to represent me when the father had hired a lawyer not to pay child support. I did a lot of research on law firms and called at least 10 law firms. They all advertised the same and they are willing to help someone like me. Only Butler Law, PC called me back and this law firm went above and beyond to help me. They are willing to work with the legal fees payment agreement. Which inspired me to be focused and find creative ways to pay for legal fees within a reasonable time. I was so disappointed how my case was handled. I spent a LOT of money to the firm, so much that I am embarrassed to mention it in the review. The money would have been well spent if I had gained from working with them. My children are in an unsafe environment that they still to live with. I know its hard to get more custody of your kids because we live in CA but the way the firm went about it was not beneficial for my case. After not getting more custody, I opened a case with DCSS. I felt as if I needed the help of an attorney to help me fight for this because the father of my children owns a business, the firm did the opposite of help me. I ended up settling for very little child support, we had everything to provide OC a good argument to get more support but the firm was more interested in going to trial so that I would have to pay more money in Attorney Fees. The whole time they were pretending that they were looking out for my best interest. All they wanted is to string me along and not really fight for my case. I def!!!!! Will not recommend this firm, you are better off working on your own with the Family Law Facilitators at the courthouse. Save your time, mental health and money. read more
