Stopped by Butter after hearing from a family friend who has been going for a few years that it's great. We were there at 10 AM on a Monday after a holiday weekend and got sat right away. However, the weekend (when the friend group went without me) had a 2.5 hour dining experience, because everything is made in house, so there's no reheating, microwaving, etc. Things move a bit slower. I appreciate that. They warn you food may come out at varying times, but ours was pretty timely. Service was kind and warm. My Italian egg sandwich was flavorful, especially the pesto and the bread. Do yourself a favor and order the orange juice. Whether it's for a mimosa or by itself IT'S AMAZING. It does have pulp, but I am a pulp apologist, so I don't care. Restaurant is in a cute house painted the color of....you guessed it....butter. Happy to return next 4th of July! read more

Everything we had at this restaurant was fantastic. One of our favorite breakfasts from our trip to this part of the country. Our coffees, regular drip and a latte, were solid and I loved how the waitress checked multiple times if I needed a warm-up (which I of course took advantage of). The smokey hibiscus chilaquiles were delicious as was the orzo elote salad. They each had very unique combinations of flavors and filled us up so much that we didn't even need lunch. We took the brown butter monkey bread with us to go and even though it wasn't warm when we ate it, it was still very tasty. Prices were as expected and service was amazing. Everything about Butter Cafe was perfectly delightful; a shining example of warmth and hospitality in the Swan Valley. From the moment we were seated in a cozy corner booth, our server took care of us like we were her family. The pastries and butter board were phenomenal, served with homemade honey butter and jam. The homemade biscuits with poblano sausage gravy were everything you could hope for; rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. The cowboy bowl smothered in sausage gravy was hearty and satisfying, with plenty left over to take home. To top it all off, our server brought out a fiery habanero hot sauce that added the perfect kick, and the Irish coffees truly hit the spot. We'll definitely be back! read more

Pancakes were pretty good though only got normal syrup when we ordered the maple syrup. Tomato soup had too much oil drizzle. Ambiance was casual and warm. Service was seriously above and beyond. Went at around 10am on a Thursday and was pretty packed, waited around 5 minutes for a table. We didn't want to spend too much time on breakfast but were also staying close by so this was a good option. We were told that the kitchen was pretty busy and that we should expect to spend around an hour there. We ordered the pina colada French toast, traditional pancakes, cowboy bowl for there. Then two breakfast burritos and the pork tenderloin sandwich to go for lunch in the Grand Tetons. Probably waited around 20 minutes and then they brought us out their beignets on the house for being patient. First, they were really good, we especially liked the chocolate and yuzu. Secondly, this was beyond nice because most places would not bother, especially because we didn't complain or anything. Food came out shortly after. Pina colada French toast was ok. Not a huge French toast person in the first place but love fruit flavored things and trying something different. Definitely was not a fan of the meyers rum maple syrup that came with the French toast, really strong rum flavor that threw me off. The pineapple topping was good though. The cowboy bowl was pretty good. The pork was good and loved all the things that came with it like the hashbrowns. Had the burritos and pork tenderloin sandwich later. Burritos were pretty standard and the salsa made it better. Pork tenderloin sandwich was a little dry but also waited a couple hours to eat so could be better fresh. Sat outside which was nice in the morning. Did not even get a look inside so could not tell you what it was like. Wish I got pictures of the food. read more

The friendliest service we had our entire trip to Victor and Grand Teton! Very cute coffee shop with bakery and full breakfast and lunch menu. I've never had a croque Madame but my husband and I both ordered one and they were excellent! Very thick piece of ham and the garlic sauce was so delicious. My new favorite breakfast item! We only ate half and saved the other half for breakfast the next day. We ordered coffee and tea 3 days in a row from Butter and it was perfect. Incredible restaurant! This is a newish restaurant for the area since I've been coming here for the 20+ years. Will differently be coming back. Definitely some small town comfort food! FYI - we went on a Sunday at 11am, and it was a 68 minute wait. However, our server was so sweet and the food was so hot and fresh and delicious, it was worth the wait and the drive over from Jackson Hole. Very cute inside, but only about 10 tables! Spent 4 nights in beautiful Victor. I was out hiking early my first 2 days. My third day I was up at a normal hour and walked to Butter for breakfast. The bacon and egg sandwich was fresh and amazing. The service and friendliness of the staff was awesome. The next morning, I had to return and I was not disappointed!
