I had previously had him at Kidz Watch in Perrysburg and then Bee Creative on Heatherdowns. Both daycares were terrible compared to here. Bee Creative sat children in front of a TV ALL DAY LONG. It did not matter what time I dropped my son off or what time I picked him up, the TV was always on and the lights were always dimmed. Kidz Watch was just as bad, with catty assistants who gossiped about me, poor meal plans (I was actually charged per day, per meal, on top of it my normal monthly fee to have my child here.) With all that being said, I didn't expect much from anywhere and figured it was typical. CDC is incredible. All the staff are kind and understanding and genuinely care about the children. I took my son on vacation with me for a week, and he asked me when we were going to go back so he could "Be with my buddies" LOL He has developed genuine connections with the kids and teachers. I watch him learn things, have adventures, go on field trips and grow into an observant, compassionate and caring child. The right daycare/preschool makes all the difference. I have not had a single disappointing experience in the 2 years he has been here. He will be going into kindergarten next year, but I will strongly consider this place as his after school care center as I work until 530pm. When I asked them about this, their answer was " he did not like the food. They left him hungery all the time. With the short time he was attending CDC, he picked up some infection. He could not survive for a long time there. When we was becoming closer to the building , he started to cry. He is no longer attand CDC, but became mad since he was going there and still carrying this habit. For every minute I left my baby in CDC I regret and felt disappointment. Their first priority is not our children, but the money and the property. At the end, I decided to find another day care, I request them to return his staff back, they said they did not know where are they. I contacted the main CDC corporation office, who contacted them, out of the blue they found some of his staff but not all of them. They are not interested in listening to my concerns about why my child is mad and unhappy. They do not want any one to know about there '' generosity with my baby", they screen me from their facebook page, I am no longer able to write a comment, and they removed all of my comments. So they think no one will know about them. I strongly recommended to avoid going to CDC. Ex-CDC parent

Toledo Kennel Club is an organization for dog enthusiasts that live near the Toledo area…read more They define themselves as "a not-for-profit organization of dog owners, breeders, performance enthusiasts and show exhibitors dedicated to the welfare and advancement of purebred dogs." They offer training classes, health clinics and so much more but they are most known for hosting dog shows- Which is exactly what we looked them up for. So on June 2nd, we drive 2.5 hrs to attended our first dog show (as a spectator) which was hosted by the Toledo Kennel Club. We found the venue to be very well organized. The parking was easy to find and only cost 6 dollars. (We were expecting it to be more, so we were quite happy). Actually parking the car was even easier. Lots of spots that were easy to find. We quickly found the information booth. It was located in a centralized location with easy to spot signage. Customer service there was excellent. They helped us find the ring we needed to get to so that we could see the dog that we came to support strut his stuff! (Yay, Toledo's own, Comet the Shih Tzu!) We got to meet many of the competitors and they all were so welcoming. They had everything there from confirmation, agility, dive, and I think they even had something called fast cat(?), where a dog is timed for chasing this fuzzy thing , plus lots of little shops. We went thinking we would stay a few hours and we left at the very end if the day. We found it to be a very fun and well run show. Thank you Toledo Kennel club! It has bird houses, rustic decor, and a lot of homey touches. Certain pots were originally rather pricey but were on sale for 50% off. I had looked at some faux window panes, but they were rather dirty, so didn't consider them further. I didn't experience any service because I wasn't interested in purchasing anything. Nothing really fit with my decor, but someone interested in adding decorative touches to a garden or outdoor area might find the right possibilities!
