So for those staying at the Hyatt, and looking for tourist items to buy (Hyatt's gift shop is quite lacking), take a look at this store and dine at the surrounding restaurants (Ava, Jimmie and Sooks, RAR brewpub). Talk about walking into the saddest gift shop I've ever been to... It took 15 minutes to buy a shot…read moreglass lol. My friend and I were going around Richmond trying to find any souvenir shop for some swag. Little did we know that this be one of the only places that sells general RVA items to take home with you. Finally found a good shot glass and it seemed like an easy $5 purchase... The old lady cashier... Bless her heart. She did not know how to use the Quickbook App on the computer and asked us to come behind the counter to figure it out. At the end of it, she asked if we could pay in cash and we had to calculate the tax for her. Lols. She couldn't have just given it to me for 5 bucks. She was friendly but I could tell that there really aren't a lot of customers that pass by here. Save some time and just get your goods at the airport if you're flying out, or stop by a museum.
