BV Tuscany Italian took me by surprise. I have passed this restaurant a million times and this was my first visit. As soon as you enter, you start to take in the look of a NYC elegant eatery. The decor is beautiful, the wall art depicts Italian landscapes, and each table displays a charming and intimate setting. Then, you're greeted by a very friendly, professional, and attentive staff member. I haven't experienced service like this in too many other places. From start to finish, staff members were either filling water glasses, asking if you would like a beverage refill, removing empty dishes, or replacing used cutlery.... at the perfect moments throughout the meal. The appetizers were both fresh and were great choices: Burrata & Tomato special and the Salad special (Mango, arugula, tomato, nuts, and the optimal amount of vinaigrette dressing). Each and every entree was exquisite: The most delicious Branzino ever tasted (vegetables and potatoes), Ravioli Cuatro Formaggio, Octopus (Risotto) special, and scrumptious Pumpkin Ravioli. I am so glad, that I decided to enjoy dinner at BV Tuscany. I will, most definitely, return and highly recommend it.

We have been to this place before and always love it. They have the most amazing staff, Nick offered outstanding service, he is entertaining and has a fantastic personality. The food is really good, especially the pasta dishes. I had the Capellini tutti mare which featured so much seafood that I couldn't even finish it. Delicious little neck clams, tender calamari, and lots of decadent shrimp. The seafood was so fresh it was great. But the best part was the smoky flavor. It was so good I would come back just for this dish. The place is small and quaint but busy with people talking and truly enjoying themselves. They make a homemade ricotta cheesecake that is truly decadent. This place is a must if you want some good food and a great time.

Go here for good Italian food at reasonable prices. 4.5 stars. They also had a full bar. Nice atmosphere & loved the humor of our waiter Nick. Made a reservation through open table based on all the five stars reviews and now I understand why...I would def go back and try more things from the vast menu. We had the zucchini flowers, dumplings, carpaccio as appetizers and shared every hung with the table. 3 of 4 us ordered the Frutta de mar with lobster and we all ate 100 % of it. Other one had linguini & clams and enjoyed it also. The only big issue I had is appetizers came out cool and I would have preferred they were piping hot...especially since we had to place the order all at once so I assumed everything would be timed perfectly based on that requirement. Dinners came out perfectly and to the right temperature. I also had to ask several times for ice since my seltzer came out warm. The other minor issue was that I ordered a coffee and a several appetizers that didn't ever come but I guess they didn't hear us because they didn't wind up on the bill. Everyone enjoyed their food to the fullest and it was a perfect amount of food. I highly recommend this place...you know how every pizzeria has basic Italian food that is just meh? This is nothing like that, everything was delicious and fresh!

Found out BV Tuscany recently, it's a small intimate restaurant in Teaneck. Reservation is highly recommended for peak hours. They also take reservation for large group parties like birthday and other celebrations. There's a small bar area in the restaurant too. Food wise the restaurant is excellent. The Lamb meatball is soft and tender, comes with amazing lemon lime sauce. Seafood pasta and sea bass were their daily special entree. Seafood has plenty of mussels, big lobster, couple of shrimps and lots of squid. The sea bass very well cooked, crispy in the outside but soft and moist inside. We ended the dinner with a delicious creme bulee. It is a great spot for a date night or hanging out with loved ones while enjoying some tasty meals and drinks.

Great food reasonably priced. The Bronzino is a staple for us whenever we eat here. The zabaglione made fresh at the table is to die for.

We went on a Wednesday night around 7PM and while there were a good amount of people dining we were able to get a table right away. We ordered the burrata to start and it was delicious. It was served over oranges and with walnuts which seemed like odd pairings to me but it just worked. I love burrata. It's always pricey, but I'm a sucker for it and will likely order it every time. We got the skirt steak, octopus, Pizza al Tartufo, and Diavolina pizza. Everything was fantastic. The skirt steak was cooked medium rare as ordered and it was served with some greens. It wasn't mind-blowing, just a good skirt steak. I would probably skip this on a return visit so that I could eat more pizza. The octopus was cooked perfectly as well. It wasn't tough and chewy and it had a nice char to it. It was a pretty large tentacle served with an arugula salad. The salad had a citrusy dressing on it which was refreshing. I really enjoyed the pizzas. We went with a white and a red pizza. THe white pizza was topped with fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, and black truffle oil. Everything went well together and the truffle flavor wasn't overpowering as it sometimes can be. The red pizza had hot sopressata, fresh mozzarella, and grana padano. The sopressata was actually a little spicy which was different from the white pizza. Both pizzas had a great crust with just the right amount of char. It was firm enough to hold up the sauces and toppings but had enough give in it so that it didn't have the texture of cardboard. Service was friendly. The place had a nice cozy feel to it. It's pricey but I'd definitely come back.

Although it was literally right behind the hotel, it was difficult to find, at least the entrance door was! The door was physically covered with heavy plastic (envision a freezer with thick strips of plastic hanging in its doorway.) Once I figured it out & went inside, I was welcomed by the restaurant staff. My husband and I were the only patrons in there at the time. We were directed to sit wherever we liked so we chose the bar. The staff was definitely on top of taking care of us. Menu options were plentiful and decision making proved difficult, I figured I couldn't go wrong with pizza. To me, it was NOT the best tasting, as this restaurant was truly Italian and used real Italian ingredients! My husband chose an entree, veal Parmesan, and he said it tasted great.... But later had an upset stomach. Anthony, our waiter, provided us great service and was very attentive. Toward the end of our meal, the restaurant began to get busier and some regular customers sat at the bar next to us. It was nice to see that it wasn't just hotel guests patronizing this restaurant. I'm sure it would be nice to sit outside on the deck in the warmer weather, as well! If we ever come back to Englewood, we may give it another try.

It's refreshing to find a steakhouse that serves food and drinks late on a Sunday night. The decor, vibes, and clientele are upscale. It's not uncommon for exotic cars to pull up at the valet station. We sat at the bar and were waited on by James who had a great personality and a flair for mixing cocktails. The "White Walker" is a long-standing cocktail on the Sofia menu, and it really hit the spot (Ketel One vodka, coconut cream, lychee, lemon and club soda). My wife tried the "Geisha's Lullaby" - a Japanese whisky cocktail with pistachio, lime, falernum and vanilla. This cocktail was outstanding! On the food side, I ordered Cacio E Pepe. I enjoyed it. Not creamy like the typical cacio e pepe, but the pasta was served over a delicious slice of beef carpaccio. I'd rate it a 4.5 of 5.0. To finish the evening, I enjoyed a pour of Redbreast 12 from Sofia's wall of spirits. Whiskey lovers will enjoy the options, including luxury pours. My wife tried a Peaches in Paris cocktail - white peach puree, vodka, lemon, St. Germain, and Peychaud's bitters. The Peychaud's bitters bullied this cocktail making it slightly unbalanced. Overall though, we loved the cocktail program.

The ambiance is old-school Italian in the best way: timeless, romantic, and cozy. It works just as well for an intimate date night as it does for a small group dinner. Bonus points for being BYOB. We ordered the veal marsala and the seafood pomodoro. The veal was pounded to perfection and swimming in a ridiculously addictive sauce. The seafood pasta was cooked perfectly and loaded with fresh shrimp, clams, and mussels and you can taste the quality and care put in the food. Meals are served with a salad to start, and you can expect to spend around $35 per entrée, which feels more than fair for the quality. We were genuinely impressed and were treated with a lot of attention throughout the meal. The concept of the restaurant being run by two italian twins was honestly so sweet. Highly recommend if you're looking for classic Italian done right without trekking into the city.
