I hate to give only two stars but hopefully this will let the owners know that this hotel is not prepared for an emergency at all . My friend stayed here right before we had Pg@e shutting all the power off. She's in a wheelchair and obviously needs to use the elevator . Had they warned her as she was checking in about the power outage she would've gone elsewhere . They knew about the power outage at least three days ahead of time . Don't you think they would've told her the power was going to go out ? Did they even think about it as they checked her in ?
So power goes out . The elevators don't work , the emergency doors don't open , and not one employee Checked to see if they needed anything . In fact, her Daughter tried to go get some food . She couldn't even get out of the hotel ! She finally found an employee who let her out . She came back and couldn't get back in. Finally found an employee who let her in. Thank God there wasn't a fire ! Lighthouse Hotel ! Get a clue !! She was stuck in there for almost two days . read more
