This place is so typical for Gilleleje, the quaint little seaside town that houses artists and other bohemians. You walk inside a little shed with a fireplace, a couch and a couple of seats (this is in the winter - in summer there are plenty seats outside, too) with a jewelry shop attached to it. The prices are in no way cheap, no ma'am, but the coffee is incredible. And I'm mean INCREDIBLE. It's been a while since I had coffee this great. If you're not in the mood for this, however, you can also get a glass of cava. This is Gilleleje, after all.
Also, it's fun to sit here just to get a feel of the community. Listening to the conversation inside By C Jewellery, you'll get a feel for the locals and what their primary topics of discussion are. Here everyone knows everyone and that might be part of the reason it feels so homey. read more
