I would give this firm less than a one star rating. Overall our experience with Ms Bucholz and By Design has been terrible. She purchased materials on our behalf but refused to give us unit prices and volumes on materials. In addition she charged an up charge of 20% on building materials without our knowledge. The list of other problems with her before we parted ways is not pretty. In one case she brought us a tile installer who bid a tile laying job at double the price of a very competent firm who ultimately got the work. We have turned it over to an attorney. We definitely would not recommend her or her firm. read more
