Probably the worst beer and the rudest service in all of Germany. We went there on a friday night…read moreand ordered a pint of Guinness and half a pint of Kilkenny, and when the beer arrived, it was weak and flat. The Guinness tasted as if it had been diluted, and the Kilkenny as if the beer pump and pipes were in severe need of a thorough cleaning. It was barely drinkable. When we mentioned this to the barman, he said 'Well, you ordered it yourselves, so if you don't like it, it's really not my problem. Maybe you should go home and brush your teeth before drinking it.' Very efficient way of losing customer's patronage, thank you very much. Never setting foot there again. Oh, and incidentally ... behind the bar were stacks of canned beer which looked as if it had been bought in one of the nearby tax free border shops and now were being sold illegally here.

This restaurant, the food, and the staff are truly an amazing here. Being I don't speak the…read morelanguage, I relied heavily on my phone for help with the menu but a waiter here went out of his way (everyday I came) to help me. I wish I knew his name because he was truly the best staff/ waiter/ employee I have ever met. In a place where I couldn't speak often, he really made me feel welcomed and that meant to much. The view from the seating is impeccable and there is a relaxing feel being there. I do not know who the chef is but the food is out of this world! I tried a different dish everyday (two I had to have more than once) and everything was perfect, the presentation, the taste and always hot! I would say more people should eat here but I wouldn't want to lose my table when I come back. I will definitely be traveling back here just to see the best waiter ever and enjoy a peaceful meal. Oh and try the ice cream... it's made here on the island and is the best I think I've ever had!
