As an example, this past Sunday, we were traveling out of town and in Jasper. It was early and we arrived as the store opened so my wife could find a pair of Asics tennis shoes she has been looking for in her size with a specific color theme. We had been unsuccessful in finding the exact shoe she wanted in her size in any other store. We did not see a match and were starting to walk back toward the door, and a female staff member stopped and asked if there was anything she could help us find. We told her no, we needed 6.5 woman's shoe in a certain style and they did not have it. She offered to look for us and said at times, customers will put a box in the wrong location. A few moments later she returned with the exact shoe my wife wanted in a size 6.5 and it fit like a glove. The five-star customer service did not stop there, when we went to the counter, the young lady at the register helped us with adding up several Kohl's Cash receipts to give us a total of $25 off our purchase price. The bottom line, we can buy Asics Shoes from any retailer for the same cost. We can also go directly to the Asics website and purchase directly. As a customer, we have many, many choices. We chose to continue to patronize Kohl's because of their fantastic customer service, even if the price is different. Pretty comparable to Sierra Trading Post's pricing, but you can try before you buy here. They also carry Red Wing Shoes, and a couple of other work boot brands. Always go to the sale rack because the employees will always direct you to the higher-priced items first which are way overpriced. The alterations were done and for the pants was told that they would cut the material but instead, they just hemmed, which I could have done myself. The altercations cost more than the jacket and pants. I will give them credit because they called and had the suite ready to go for a memorial service. Don't expect to rush in and make a purchase.
