Perfect contrast to the cold ice cream......and the flavors were very intense apples and custard. SO DELICIOUS!! Also indulged in the local Rüdesheimer drink which was a brandy mixed with sugar then lit on fire to caramelize the drink, then topped off with a huge dollop of whipped cream. Warming, sugary & creamy.....perfection!

We loved the pastries and sandwiches here but had a running joke of visiting "the cranky baker", as one of the servers here is extremely cranky and we even witnessed him yelling at a customer. Regardless, waking up to fresh coffee and almond croissants filled with nutella each morning is worth the cranky customer service ;)
