The location is good, directly opposite from the bus station in Herzogenaurach, at the edge of the town center. The food is decent, it's basically your typical bakery, where you get a range of snacks from bread rolls and bread for your breakfast at home to delicious bagels and cakes, which you can, of course, also eat in the café itself. The coffee is pretty okay, but it's the white chocolate here that I can't get enough of (me drinking something other than coffee...that does not happen often)! It is really comfortable, as I said, we usually spend hours at a time in here! Two of the walls are made entirely from glass, meaning it is always warm and light inside, and there's a lovely seating area outside, if you can ignore the buses constantly driving past! Bottom line: * great place to sit and chat for hours * your usual bakery (and café) snacks * try the hot chocolate...the white one! =)

We stopped by for a coffee and cake (rather surprisingly) we were struggling to find somewhere - lots of other places had run out of cake by 2pm). We ordered tea, cafe crème and cake. The cake was fine but the coffee had no cream - just a black coffee you had to add milk yourself. But the tables could do with cleaning (lots of crumbs) and they didn't give us the receipt, without which you can't use the toilets (as the receipt has the access code on it). There's a sign saying this by the toilets - but it's not much help if you don't ask for a receipt at the point of purchase. The server happily provided this on asking but it did make going to the toilet rather a faff. Overall, it was ok but not a brilliantly experience.
