I locked my company car keys in the trunk of my car in my 2022 hybrid Camry in Moreno Valley area seeing a patient as a home health RN. I called AAA and they sent a younger man who didn't know what he was doing couldn't figure out how to help me and eventually said "I'm not sure what to do, but I have to go I have another call" and pretty much left me stranded. If my experience with this company ended with just him, I would give a bad review.... BUT..... I decided to just have it towed and have my corporate office overnight the spare. When I called AAA again they sent C&D towing again, but I was desperate now sitting in the sun for 2 plus hours. Oscar their employee showed up, gave me water sat me in the ac of his truck, unfortunately my car did auto parking lock, so he called his coworker Christian who he said knew more about newer cars and told him he couldn't just leave me there I'd been sitting in my car for over 2 hours. Christian came and was actually able to get my keys from the trunk!!!! I am so incredibly thankful for these two amazing men for helping me!!! Oscar wasn't just there for the check! He genuinely cared about my safety and well being! The world needs More employees like these 2 awesome guys!!!! The youngster for sure needs more training, but this towing company made up for that by sending these 2 angels to save the day! read more

A woman who was so rude and demeaning called saying their driver has been calling me several times. I said I never got a call. She insisted the driver called several times. I asked why coz she never had problems calling me. Then she told me to talk to her with the same courtesy she is giving me in a tone sounding like she was taking down to me. Can not believe the audacity of this company! We called for service and was told the wait would be 20 - 25 minutes MAX. After almost an hour, they were not there, and we did not even receive a call or text to let us know they would be late. I called and was told another call took priority over our call (WTF), but they could send someone else in 15 minutes. She guaranteed no longer than 15 minutes. Another almost 30 minutes later, they finally showed up. Again, no call or text letting us know they would be late AGAIN. There was no apology from the girl on the phone or the driver. He was also rude when he arrived. This was the WORST company I have ever dealt with. Do not call them unless you like being disrespected as a customer and have 2 hours to sit in your car and wait for them. read more

The only saving grace about this company is that they came Within an hour. Everything else about this company is completely unacceptable. I asked for a tow, and told my nanny to pay. She told the tow truck driver that she would pay, and he said OK. He then drove away without collecting payment. The Person sent me a credit card authorization form, and I responded at 10:34 AM saying that my nanny would pay. She responded at 10:39 AM, saying that the nanny had not paid. She then left a message 5 minutes later (which I did not receive because I was in meetings at work), then five minutes after that telling me that the driver was already taking my car to the impound yard. I called frantically trying to get a hold of someone, and they were extremely rude. The emails and time frame are attached. As a postscript, I told her that she should not have acted this way because my nanny told the driver that she was going to pay, and of course she took no responsibility and essentially said it was all my fault. I wish I could also attach copies of the threatening voicemails. Also, I asked twice for a receipt via email, and they have not provided. read more

Philip just saved my day and a lot of money and time. I called AAA and they Sent Phillip from C & D towing. I was sure this was going to be a tow to the dealer for expensive diagnostics and repairs and a day lost dealing with it all. The car was basically stuck, the parking brake was locked and it would not start. In les the 30 seconds Philip correctly diagnosed the problem. In less than three minutes he had the car running and gave me instructions on the best way to fix it. If I could give this company more than 5 stars I would! Yesterday around 6pm I was at the Westfield mall in El Cajon finishing up some last minute birthday shopping for my 2 year old son. I loaded up our purchases, strapped son in his car seat, closed his door and walked to the drivers door to get in only to find that ALL the doors were LOCKED. I'm not entirely sure what happened as mine is a newer vehicle and has features that prevent you from locking your keys inside the car. Regardless, I panicked when I realized my son was now locked inside of the vehicle and it was still pretty hot out at this time. I was able to flag someone down and they were gracious enough to call a C&D towing and advised them that my son was locked inside. The gentleman from C&D towing LITERALLY arrived within MINUTES. SERIOUSLY, MINUTES. He even took his own PERSONAL vehicle because it was quicker than dispatching a truck. He had my vehicle open in less than 5 minutes and I was able to get my son water and get him cooled off. I am eternally grateful for the gentleman who came to the rescue and for this company being so responsive! THANK YOU & GOD BLESS!!! read more

My car was towed on a Friday due to outdated registration. I went in to pick up the car and they said I needed a copy of a valid registration. It was late on friday and by the time I got to the DMV they were closed and not open on the weekend. I went monday morning, obtained a 1 day moving permit since it was registered as non-operation, then went back to C&D to collect my car monday morning. They then told me I needed to go to the sheriff's office and sign a release. After returning yet again to C&D they charged me an extra $250+ since I didn't pick it up over the weekend (which I was not able to because DMV was closed). After paying this inflated fees (total 525) I then was able to see my car. They damaged the side of the car leaving a huge dent and scratches across the side door panels and side trunk. Paint was on the pole next to the car and it was obvious the damage was done at their facility. The rep even confirmed they had a hard time getting it in but then denied they did the damage. I requested their insurance information which they denied to provide. Since this was a non-operational; no insurance is required. However, the manager said the only way to get their insurance info is if I can prove to them they did the damage or to have my insurance contact them. They said they'd review the footage and let me know but refused to give me any insurance info to open a claim. They said since I complained about the extra fees that I'm obviously just trying to pin the damage on them. Since they denied provide any insurance information, I am forced to hire an attorney or file a small claims court case against them for damages. read more

Never heard back from tow company when I called to check status at 10:15 was told it would be another 45 min. Then the app updated to 12:15 then 12:30. Over 3 hours to wait for a tow truck?? and still not contact from the tow company. Horrible customer service and no accountability. Do. It trust or rely upon for services. Ran out of time to wait and had to cancel request. Complete waist of my time and has now caused additional stress to my whole week as this was the only time I had to make these arrangements. read more

I was recently in a car accident and my car was taken to C&D Towing. We visited the yard to recover my personal items from my vehicle at the recommendation of my insurance adjuster. Jacob at the front desk assisted us through the entire process. He went above and beyond as we weren't able to open the trunk since the battery was dead. He kindly and promptly jumped started my car which allowed us to recover the rest of my belongings. We had a great experience recovering my items and Jacob was a breath of fresh air to this entire process! Jacob is a great asset and deserves a raise! read more

This company is contracted by my office's building to tow cars that are parked in our lot's reserved spaces. I called today around 12:45-1 to have a car towed that did not belong to anyone in our office, and was told that someone would be on their way. I got a call at 4:30 from the tow truck driver, telling me that he had just arrived and could not find the car in question, giving the excuse that he was stuck in traffic. When I asked where he was coming from that caused him to be stuck in nearly 4 hours of traffic, he informed me that he was only told about the call about 45 minutes prior to arriving. Whether there was just a huge gap in communication between my phone call and him being sent out or he was lying, this is completely unprofessional behavior on behalf of this company. Several of my coworkers have also called over the past year to get cars towed and they've either arrived extremely late or have not shown up at all. I would not recommend them at all to anyone looking for a new towing service. read more

so the tow truck driver got here and told us that the member has to ride with them, so I told him no as a AAA member we were told that as long as we are a passenger in the car or driving the car, it could be towed and nothing about the member hast to ride with the tow truck driver. And from there, the tow truck driver got an attitude and to make a long story short hip took the car off the hooks and left. I guess he didn't like to be told of the rules that they're supposed to follow from AAA. read more

Consumers Beware of the Company!!! Very Shady .. double bills whenever possible...,They were called by ECPD after an accident .. I told them that I would be using Triple A n they said they didn't have a contract with them n that I needed to pay them 180 to unhook my car ... I paid them the 180 n they unhooked my car n 3 mins later they told me that they were now my Triple A drivers ... they charged me 180 for to unhook my can and Triple A for a tow to my home all on the same call and they refused to refund me the 180 .., they feel they did nothing wrong .. apparently double billing is normal to them ... thankfully Triple A doesn't agree with that!!! Worse towing company ever. Supposed to take care of any parking violations in our complex in lakeside and instead they keep legitng people park illegally and against the parking rules. They have yet to rectify multiple parking problems that they were supposed to take care of. They got the contract to manage our lit based off the rules and guidelines they set for parking which seemed good. But have yet to in force their own rules. The girl on the phone is completely rude and disrespectful and hangs up on customers that call to have problems taken care of. My wife was involved in an accident Sunday January 26, she was required to go to the hospital for her injuries immediately after. CHPD called C & D towing to remove her car from the 5 and bring it to their lot until we could release it for the insurance company. The next day my wife went to sign the release papers, and to collect her personal belongings from the vehicle. My wife works in the service industry and essentially her entire paycheck is tips. The previous weeks tips were in her center consul, as she did not have time to deposit them. That morning when she went to collect all of her stuff, $900 in cash was missing from the center consul. The chain of custody from the incident to the tow lot was never broken. C & D towing was single point of custody, from the site of the accident, until the next morning when it was picked up from their "video surveilled lot". This is completely unacceptable for any business, they have affected my families livelihood, and ability to pay our mortgage. Being involved in such a Trumatic incident, the car accident, is bad enough. But to find out that what essentially amounts to your wife's entire weeks paycheck has been stole is disgusting and predatory. I have reached out and spoken to the manager of the tow company, David and have not heard anything back since the initial contact. read more

Let me preface this with having to deal with your car being towed (because it hadn't moved from its spot for more than 72 hrs) is never a pleasant experience. That said...Heather and Sarah did an AMAZING job helping me with info and getting the car out of the yard. Heather was patient and understanding with me on the phone. Sarah and Heather both were kind and helpful once we got to the office. You could tell it was a busy Saturday at C&D, but those two women handled the ringing phones and busy office with total grace, thanking people for waiting and apologizing for the wait. They clearly have high stress thresholds, as they seemed super calm! I didn't come away feeling like a horrible, irresponsible person, like in past experiences with other towing companies. I realize I'm a bonehead for not taking care of the car before it was towed. I don't need anyone to make me feel like s***bag on top of it. The crew at C&D didn't make me feel that way and THAT is worth they tow fees, in my opinion. Also...I'd like to note that C&D Towing has the CLEANEST tow yard office I've ever seen. And I've even been to one in snooty Orange County! My only critique would be I wasn't given a quote for the service to tow the car from C&D to the shop fixing it. And I was surprised at the cost and would have considered other options. But, Al (tow operator) was very cool, patient and helpful. I chalked up the expense to my punishment for not taking care of the car before this. All in all...a stellar tow company. I'll be letting LMPD know how great they are. read more
