Now I am having to take him to court because he won't send me the appraisal unless I give him another $1,000+. I have attached my communication with Randy Cyr, the business owner, who confirms he only requires half upfront yet won't provide the appraisal I paid for. Most his email is nonsense but the agreement is quite clear.

I just wanted a cost-effective solution. Randy became irate and angrily told me to cut the tree down when he heard this. I asked him to please take it down a few notches, or this conversation was over. I called him looking for ways that I can save my tree, steps that I can take. After more discussion, it was decided he needed to leave and not return. I'm not sure why he was angered the moment he arrived. Maybe he got lost, stuck in traffic, or didn't have his coffee. Regardless, he has zero customer service skills. I wasted money on his trip fee and now have to find someone else to help me. Do yourself a favor and call anyone else but this very grumpy person.

Both armrests and some of the main body of the sofa were soaked. The smell of decaying fibers was already present therefore needing to be removed right away. I am an out of state owner of this rental property, so I am forced to rely on trust and pictures. Joaquin, the owner, professionally articulated the project from start to finish. For a relatively small job, he personally visited the property multiple times to plan and measure all aspects of the project. His ideas and experience impressed me. But, most of all, he takes great pride in his work and backs his word. When the job was over, he tested the drainage to ensure water drained properly in the grated drain system and the well that he installed. Additionally, he installed a retaining wall to further help with the drainage issues. He took the time to explain to me every detail on the phone, took and sent excellent pictures, and overall did phenomenal work! I'm happy with the project which resolved the problem that I have been dealing with for years. Finally, Joaquin's estimate and prices were on the mark. Not once did I even consider I was overpaying for anything. He broke down the cost of materials and the number of hours of labor. I plan to use JL & Sons again for fencing and some repair work on a screened porch. Very reliable, honest, and fair - an easy 5-star evaluation that I am happy to write and provide a reference.
