Best pedicure I've ever had. It was the lady owner who did my pedicure, she had very light hands and worked fast. Her massage was very good and even did hot stone! I've never had hot stone with a pedicure before so was really delighted! While waiting for my toenails to dry, I was given a shoulder massage! terrible customer service. went back to show them top coat peeling and nails lifting in less than two weeks. they told me it's for me cleaning. really? I wear gloves. and they won't fix the problem without charging me. plus they told me sometimes that happens when it's too close to the cuticle. well, you did that not me. very disappointing. no further appointments with this place. read more

I have gone to this place twice - the prices are reasonable and that is the reason I go here. I have taken 2 stars off this place because both times I have gone here to get a manicure and pedicure - the pedicure was great but the manicure, I felt the technician was a bit rough.. there have been times when I was wincing with pain or the filing was too aggressive or the drilling was too painful and I let them know. I didn't even get a I'm sorry I will be gentle next time but they continued doing what they were doing. The work is great but I'm not happy with how harsh they are with their customers when they are doing their job i.e. filing, cutting cuticles and using the drill to smooth out the top of the nail for acrylic or gel. read more

Back to the drawing board. I thought I found a nail salon where I'll be a frequent customer, the first couple times, Jen did an amazing job on my nails. I even referred the shop to a few of my neighbors and friends. As of recently the the quantity has fallen drastically !! Dirty. They reuse the same foil on multiple peoples hands. The same blue liquid with everyone's cuticles swimming around in it. Used to be at least a decent manicure, but now they're leaving old polish in corners, shoddy application, crooked/ uneven nails. Love this salon! Since covid-19, all of their staff wear face masks and face shields. The pedicure tubs all have plastic liners on them, and there's a plastic divider in between each massage chair and seat. I've been back to get two manicures with accent nail designs and they take their time with all the details. The massages are also an added bonus. I look forward to going back again! read more

Upon reading the reviews for this salon, I gave it a try this morning and have to say it did not disappoint! The salon was very clean and well kept, and the staff was friendly and efficient. I was very impressed with the quality of their polishes and even noticed that the technician cleans the entire rim of the bottle of polish before putting it back on the shelf. I really appreciated how detailed each technician was, careful not to miss any spots and taking their time with each nail. I came to C & L for the first time Jan 2 before leaving for vacation. I got a plain manicure and pedicure. I really wanted to have my fingernails pained in an ombré style. I showed the nail tech a photo on my phone and asked if she could do this, the answer was NO. Then she spoke to her boss in a different language and again said no. I went to get my nails done for my sisters wedding with some other girls since it was by the venue. They only had a certain amount of workers so we had to go in groups. I asked for tips and they came out SOOO thick, I cried when I got back and ended up filing them down from the underside. I was also upset that my sister asked for a French manicure and they ended up just giving her a white tip with no pink underneath. If you want a basic gel polish or anything like that the girls that had that done said it was fine, but anything else I wasn't impressed. read more

A little more than I pay in Philly so I couldn't get 5 stars but let me tell you the extra money is well spent because they give you a wonderful shoulder/neck massage as your nails dry- it was actually better than some massage places I've been too. Folks are friendly, place is clean, lots of color options. I suggest playing some music or put the tv on to avoid the silence but I also did get there first thing in the morning. After trying at least 6 other local nail salons , I have to say , hands down no pun intended, C & L Nails is by far the best one. Here is why: They are extremely friendly and polite. They do not change prices randomly. Their shop is kept spotless. Their service is above average and I've never had a problem with the nail service. I get the gel fills And occasionly a pedicure. When you get your nails done here there are few things that I notice that they do that the other places don't do, Such as; They do not rush through your service and they push back your cuticle and trim it. No other place did that . At the end of your nail service you will get a hot towel massage on your neck and your shoulders. The owner Paul is a big Teddy bear and he gives the best massage. For their $25 pedicure you will get hot stone and a hot towel. I could not find another place in this area that gave you both of those services for a regular pedicure for $25. I took my daughter here for a mani and pedi. My daughter and I were discussing an additional service that cost $7 more. We never told the technician to add the service. When I went to pay the bill the technician has performed the service and charged me an additional $7 for callous removal. We never directly told her to add the service!!!!!! I had to direct my nail technician to trim and smooth two of my toes and as I was sittig and drying I noticed how dry my feet and legs were! No oil added during the pedi. My toes were still rough along the top of my toes! I rubbed lotion on my feet and legs as I waited for my daughter! Very unprofessional pedicure. It's like she didn't care to do a good job! Also they did not social distance the the nail stations. They have about a dozen stations there was only 1 other lady getting a manicure. They sat my daughter right next to this lady with no partition separating the chairs. I find it strange that they didn't use one of the other stations and that they have no separation between customers! They do have the plexi glass between customer and nail tech. This was my first time and my last time going here! The added servce was only $7 but you don't add the service if I didn't directly say to you add the service. When I checked out she really didn't have an answer as to why she added the service if she wasn't told directly to add the service! Guess they are hard up for $$$$$!
